Hi I'm April. I've cared for pets in their own home and house sat successfully for over 18 years. I have additional references from long term customers in Simsbury,Avon, and surrounding areas. I like establishing a good relationship with owners and their pets so I may provide long term reliable care. I currently work with a few great owners and their pets. But I do have time to spend with your pet/pets to make them feel special while you can't be there. I offer dependable care in your home. Whether its a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. You can count on me for house sitting and caring for your whole pet family and their needs.

April does a wonderful job! My family was at ease with our two large dogs in her care. She stayed at our home and kept our pets comfortable and loved. We received lots of communication and adorable photos. We will be using April again the next time we go out of town.
April is a great dog sitter. She loves the pups as her own and sends consistent updates. We will definitely be using her again throughout the summer.
FANTASTIC 5 star pet sitting! April & Buzz cared for our Aussie while we were away on vacation. They were so friendly, professional, meticulous and obviously love animals very much. Abbey was comfortable with them right from the meet and greet and we could tell she was so well cared for. April sent lots of pictures everyday which gave us great peace of mind and made us happy. Even the neighbors mentioned what a fabulous, wonderful job they did with Abbey while we were gone. Absolutely will use them again. April saved our trip to the Carolina’s! It was longest trip since getting our dog in 2018, and also our first time booking a house sitter. April came before our trip and all of our concerns were quickly resolved. She took great care of our dog and cats, and sent pictures regularly throughout our stay. April slept with all of the animals (well - one of our cats is a little shy) but she allowed them to feel comfortable at home vs. being in a new space. The 9 days away felt like an eternity - but seeing the happy faces in pictures let us know that they we’re very comfortable. She even asked about feeding our fish, something we neglected to think about (we used to have an auto feeder).
Nothing short of perfection! My girls were happy and healthy when we came home. Most importantly, my girls were safe!!! April eliminates all stresses when we leave home and there is no tip that would relay this fact. It’s priceless. Thank you once again for being our special pal. See ya soon!

Schedule
A typical stay would be from afternoon til morning. A midday visit is included as well. It's important to me that your pet's needs are met.
