While unable to host pets at my home, I always follow the owners instructions closely and pay attention to detail regarding an animals home turf!! I would never disrespect the animals home and space.

It is crucial to know if a dog/cat is reactive to certain stimulus as well as what happens when they are triggered. I will also need to know any specific medical conditions and needs, diet requirements, what a normal bowel movement is like for the animal, their energy level, when they need food and water, what calls and responses they know, and I could go on!!!
A typical day
Living in Northwest CT we are lucky to have access to many near by trails. I utilize John A. Minetto State Park, Sunny Brook State Park, White Memorial Park in Litchfield, as well as the streets around my clients homes. I am always ready to try a new trail or park with your best friend! I love playing fetch with my clients or just spending time giving them pets.

Pet care experience
Since childhood, friends and neighbors have always relied on me to watch their pets! I grew up with dogs but do not own one now due to housing and have two kitties. I am also experienced with large farm animals and safety when handling and being around them. This translates to dogs as well, for safety we must remember we can never 100% predict an animals behavior.

Allie has been great! She is very personable with not just me but also my dog, Skip. She communicates with me about every visit and keeps me updated with any changes or concerns she may notice with my dog. She has brought Skip on a variety of adventures that he loves. She makes Skip very happy and myself happy as well knowing my dog is being properly cared for!
April loves animals and is very caring with them. She works and cares for our 25 rescued farm animals and shares reports of each shift she completes. We trust her with our animals to work alone, efficiently and lovingly. She would be great caring for your animals!
