Information April B. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs including medication or dietary. Their response/reaction to other dogs/animals, personality traits and any behavioral steps you’re currently working on with them .
A typical day
My ultimate goals on a walk are attention to potty stops as necessary, letting the dogs guide the walk safely and behaved as per their own experience, and making sure enough energy is spent through plenty of physical and visual stimulation. If you have a yard I’m happy to play ball and run around in circles.

Pet care experience
Mother to dogs, cats, parakeets, turtles, fish, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs and the occasional local raccoon looking for some bread. I’ve worked as a farm hand cleaning and feeding horses, cows, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. I used to volunteer with common sense walking dogs regularly as well. I have experience working with animals that need additional attention due to medical conditions etc. I currently have a senior kitty with no teeth, I’ve also had seniors that wore diapers and I have worked with small animals in the past like Guinea pigs that had chronic impacted bowels etc. I understand the love and care we put into our pets because my pets are my fur babies! An added bonus; I can tend to the occasional house plant in need of water!
Reviews
I'm so happy I found April! She's been wonderful with my 8 year old Aussie, Leo and he absolutely adores her! April is kind, compassionate, and an excellent caregiver. She is super reliable and was able to be flexible with my schedule when I needed it. I feel so at ease knowing my fur baby is in great hands. 10/10 would recommend 🙌
April is an animal lover of all kinds! She goes above and beyond to keep her pets safe and well. She loves every kind of animal and has many.
April was wonderful with my cat! She is very caring and attentive with her. She made sure to take plenty of pictures and I felt very comfortable with April watching her. Definitely would use her again.
April is a compassionate animal caregiver, she has always cared for my pets when in need, including on short notice. She is also very thorough in following the special needs of my cat’s medications. She’s also excellent at caring for my aquarium. I couldn’t say more positive things about her.
