Hi there! I’m Aphtyn. As a native to southern Maine, I’ve spent the last 3 years in Boston as a live-in private dog sitter for 2 Field Spaniels and 1 Cavapoo. My duties consisted of multiple daily walks + play time, vet visits, administering medication as needed, daily grooming, bathing, puppy training, crate training, and lots of treats + lovin’ 😊 I have experience with senior dog care, fear aggression, separation anxiety, and effectively breaking up a dog fight—you don’t think you need that knowledge until the day you do! I am very respectful of other people’s homes. I’ll keep your plants alive and thriving and leave your place tidier than you left it. For safety reasons, I do not take dogs off leash anywhere except for their own fenced in backyards. I also do not do dog parks, but love exploring new trails or throwing balls in the backyard. On rainy days, I love brain stimulating play like hide and seek, sniffing out treats, etc. At the end of the day, you can rest assured knowing your feline or k9 is being treated like a member of my own family.
