Hi, I’m Aoife! ☘️🐾 I’m an Irish girl living in BC who absolutely adores animals and treats every pet like they’re my own. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been the person friends and family trust to look after their pets while they’re away. I’m active, outdoorsy, and love long walks, beach days, and getting outside — so your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I’m also very calm, patient, and attentive to animals’ different personalities and needs, whether that’s high-energy adventures, cuddles on the couch, or sticking to a specific routine. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and lots of reassurance while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and happy the entire time.

I’m happy to care for pets either in my own home or in the owner’s home depending on what works best for your pet and their routine. I know every animal is different, so I always try to make them feel as comfortable, safe, and relaxed as possible. I stick closely to feeding schedules, walking routines, medication needs, and any instructions provided by the owner. I love spending quality time with animals, whether that’s long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or just keeping them company and giving them lots of affection and attention. I’m very attentive to behaviour, energy levels, and body language, so I quickly pick up on when a pet needs rest, stimulation, reassurance, or space. Cleanliness, consistency, and communication are also really important to me, and I’ll always provide regular updates and photos so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

Aoife was amazing! She’s kind, patient, and worked well with my goldendoodle. My dog loved her and she was great about playing with him. I’ll definitely have her again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!
Aoife took wonderful care of my senior cat for a week. She sent many photos to assure me my cat was doing well. She spent extra time with her to make sure she was not lonely. I would not hesitate booking her to take care of your pet. Very responsible and a good communicator. Thank you Aoife from Tila (the cat)!!
Aoife is a great sitter! She was very accommodating and I got updates throughout the time! I would be more than happy to have her watch my dog again.

Schedule
Currently I am working as a personal trainer. My days are only about 4-5 hours long and usually consist of a few hours in the morning and the odd evening. Given my circumstances I have loads of time to be there regularly for your dog to ensure the best level of care for them. I love to walk and be active during the middle of the day so I can bring them on loads of walks and explorations.
