I specialize in taking care of cats, dogs, fish chickens and more. I love the outdoors and being around all animals. I grew up on a farm in a little village in Ireland and I was surrounded by all kinds of animals. I spent some time as a nanny in Portugal and now I'm a professional pet nanny. As a lifelong animal owner I have also been pet and animal sitting for friends, family and clients for over 35 years. Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Pigs, Fish, Frogs, Goats, Donkeys, Ponies and Horses… I have fed, medicated and cared for them all. I am trustworthy, dependable and I will treat your fur family member just like my own. I'm not afraid of a little hard work or a nervous fur baby. I am a Level 2 Reiki provider I know how to connect with animals on a spiritual energy level in a calm manner which in turns gains their trust and can help relax them if they are anxious or have separation anxiety. I am happy to administer medications. All of my cats can do tricks for treats such as sit, high five, spin around, give the paw and meow on command. Cats are smart! I would love to be considered for all your pet and housesitting needs. I have never met an animal I didn't love. Working from home affords me a very flexible schedule. I am looking for pet owners in my local area that need a reliable caring drop in or full time care home & pet sittings. I will clean up after the pets and myself, collect mail and take out trash and water up to 10 plants if needed free of charge. If you have more than 10 plants or need a garden watered I am happy to help please request additional plant care at time of request/Meet & Greet. I can provide services in your home where your pet is most comfortable. Please note that per Rover guidelines each overnight stay is for a period of 24 hours per night charge. If additional time is needed after an initial overnight there will be an additional "half daycare" or "full daycare" charge, the amount can be discussed at the meet and greet and will depend on the amount of hours/ pets and extras such as medications or special needs. Please note that Extended stay rates listed are charged per day for the entire stay per night once the stay is 7 days or more. Drop In Only: Please note...my daily drop rate to hourly charges applies when a Drop in Only is requested with no overnight prior, rates are listed in my service rates. Just click on Services. Exotic or farm animal care prices will vary depending on the animals. Please contact for pricing and please be transparent about all the animals needing care and medications upfront. PLEASE NOTE: Rover terms of service require all animals in the household to be added to the booking for transparency and for their Rover Guarantee to be valid. This applies regardless of auto feeding, auto water bowls or auto litter boxes which can fail, be knocked over, spill or shut off in a power outage. Cats are considered companion animals and need care and attention and someone to monitor their health and emotional wellness. I am not currently providing boarding services at this time. I am happy to follow any masking, hand washing and sanitizing practices during Meet & Greet and visits if needed, please request prior so I can be prepared in advance. I love to spend quality time with the animals I care for and I make sure that I interact with them frequently such as playtime, treat time, feeding time, puzzles, relaxing time and walks if needed. During the meet and greet I try to get an idea of what the animals routine is from their owner so that I can make the transition as smooth as possible causing less anxiety and stress for the animals while they are in my care.

Aoife gave us a wonderful gift: She cared for our pups and home is such a way that we felt comfort and great confidence and this was our first experience together! Our little dogs are fragile medically and we are so pleased that not only were their medical needs met but their emotional needs as well. I cannot say enough good things about Aoife! This was my first time using a pet sitter and the longest I've left my fur babies, so needless to say, I was nervous. As soon as I met Aoife, I knew it would be a great fit. I was able to truly enjoy my family trip for 6 days because I knew my pups were being well cared for. In fact, they were living their best lives! I loved all of the text updates, pictures and videos that were sent to me. I could see that they were bonded right away. Aoife went above and beyond and isn't just a pet/house sitter. You can tell she loves what she does and most importantly, loves the fur babies that she's caring for. Thank you again, Aoife for putting my mind at ease and caring for my babies as if they were yours.

Aoife was an absolute pleasure to have watching our two dogs! They were both recently adopted from a rescue, so still relatively new to us, but that didn’t deter her in the slightest. As soon as she walked in for the meet and greet, I knew they were in good hands. She is incredibly experienced and in tune with their needs. She made sure to keep their schedule as close to what we normally do for them, and kept up with all their training. She made sure to update us on their adventures and was always responsive when we reached out. Just everything about the process was perfect.

Schedule
I work from home as an artist so my schedule is very flexible. I have 4 indoor cats that are taken care of by my family while I am on overnights.
