Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m currently in college and have a flexible schedule with plenty of free time. I enjoy spending that time taking care of animals, whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or keeping them company. Doing Rover allows me to earn income while in school, more importantly, it gives me the chance to spend my free time doing something I love.

This can include walks, playtime with their favorite toys, gentle fetch, or even just snuggle time for pets who prefer a calm environment. I also enjoy introducing little mental stimulation games, like hide-and-seek with treats, to keep them engaged and happy while they’re in my care.

Pet care experience
I’ve always had a love for animals, and I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for pets of my own. I currently have two dogs, ages 3 and 2, who keep me active and teach me patience, consistency, and lots of playtime. I also rescued a cat who ended up having kittens, and I cared for her and her babies until I was able to safely rehome them. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to provide pets with the love, attention, and care they need to feel safe and happy.
