Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister.

In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!
Information Anyka A. would like to know about your pet
The biggest thing is how they react when they see a stranger or a new dog. If they have any meds they need administered, when they get fed, and how often they need to go out.
A typical day
I love stimulating dogs by taking them to new places like pet friendly stores or dog parks as long as it’s okay for the specific dog. Treat puzzles are another big thing I love using as it’s fun and mentally stimulating for the dog!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of small to big dogs for almost 10 years now. I have a dealt with a handful of reactive dogs as well as plenty non reactive dogs, I was taught how to read dogs body language about 6 months ago and I’m still working on improving! I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent.

Anyka was not able to sit for us due to personal issues but her boyfriend Sawyer stepped in and covered her scheduled days and times. Sawyer did a great job this time, and the dogs and cat were happy to see him again. Our return flight was delayed by almost 6 hours, I called Sawyer and asked if he was able to come back and let the dogs out, and feed them, due to our unforeseen delay. He didn’t hesitate to help us out. He was a saving grace for the dogs. Will work with both Anyka and Sawyer again as needs arise.

Anyka was not able to sit for the entire time frame due to some personal issues. She arrived as scheduled and the dogs and the cat were happy to see her. Around 12 pm I received a text that she would not be able to finish the entire time, she would stay the night. She offered another person to take her place, her boyfriend, if it was okay with us. While I was a little hesitant, there really was no other option, so I agreed. It was a good choice. Sawyer was good with the animals and took good care of them. He was attentive to the needs of the animals and everyone was happy and content when we returned. The house was good and everything was neat and clean. So glad Anyka had a backup plan to work this out.
Anyka has a great enthusiasm about dogs. She grew up with an Australian Shepherd who was her entire world. Ever since she was little she showed a certain love for dogs that I had not seen. She loves taking care of dogs and ensuring the best care possible. Taking care of dogs is definitely her biggest passion and I love seeing her go after this job.
