Animal enthusiast!
I have a huge love for animals and I tend to be able to bond with them very well. I have two dogs of my own at home, a border collie and a havanese. I’ve had dogs in my home for the majority of my life, and even before that I had been around dogs a lot, as all of my extended family owns dogs. That being said, I know my profile says I do take puppies under a year old, however they must be house trained and able to be left alone for a bit as I am not always able to be in the house 24/7, though I do stay with them as much as possible. I tend to work on a case to case basis for puppies as well as senior dogs. I spent a year volunteering at a local animal shelter where I learned a lot about how to work with cats, and have since cat sat for a friend multiple times over the years. I worked at a kennel with dogs for three months during a summer vacation as well, and I worked at a local dog daycare for almost a year. All of my experience has furthered my knowledge with animal behavior.

I will make sure that, since I will be in the animals’ space, I will be respectful of their area and yours as well. I will stick to their normal routine as best as I can and make sure that they are comfortable around me.

Anya took great care of our cat. She was very responsive and provided a lot of updates.
Anya was really wonderful! We got updates often on our dog Rosie and she was very responsive. She has a very calm, warm energy about her that was a great fit for our Rosie. I will definitely have her watch our pooch again!
Anya was great. Very friendly and has wonderful communication skills. She stayed with our Goldendoodle at our home for the weekend while we were away. We look forward to hiring her again!
Overall I had a good experience with Anya. She communicated well and sent updates with pictures of my lab while she watched her. I would hire her again for watching my dog. Her school classes made it harder for her to be at my place throughput the day, but I felt like she was honest with me on what she could and could not do.
Anya is a great dog/house sitter!! She took excellent care of my dog and sent me frequent updates and photos the whole time I was gone. I’ll definitely be booking her again!
Anya was great jumping in to take care of my old, separation anxiety ridden dog at the last minute when my previous sitter had to cancel. She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, asked lots of questions when she was unsure, and took care of my 15 year old fur baby at his absolute worst and most anxious. I was deeply grateful for her kindness to both my pup and myself.

Schedule
I recently graduated from the University of Washington and am currently looking for a job! So, for the time being, I am able to be home with your pets almost always. Once I find a full time job, we can discuss a schedule that works for both me and your pets!
