I have a huge love for animals and I tend to be able to bond with them very well. I have two dogs of my own at home, a border collie and a havanese. I’ve had dogs in my home for the majority of my life, and even before that I had been around dogs a lot, as all of my extended family owns dogs. That being said, I know my profile says I do take puppies under a year old, however they must be house trained and able to be left alone for a bit as I am not always able to be in the house 24/7, though I do stay with them as much as possible. I tend to work on a case to case basis for puppies as well as senior dogs. I spent a year volunteering at a local animal shelter where I learned a lot about how to work with cats, and have since cat sat for a friend multiple times over the years. I worked at a kennel with dogs for three months during a summer vacation as well, and I worked at a local dog daycare for almost a year. All of my experience has furthered my knowledge with animal behavior.
