Hi! I'm Anya (but I go by Sophie). I've been taking care of dogs and other animals for most of my life. I have experience with senior dogs, young dogs, shy dogs, energetic dogs, difficult-to-train dogs, girl dogs in heat, and in-desperate-need-of-grooming dogs. I have two dogs of my own, and I can't wait to meet yours!

I have known Anya for many years and know her to be a very responsible, caring person as well as pet-sitter. She has been sitting my dogs for the past 15 years, sometimes up to 3 wks while I travel abroad, and has always been trustworthy and reliable. She has also done dog-walking for neighbors of mine who had high-energy pups that needed a young person to match their dog’s energy. Anya will be very capable with most aspects of your pet’s care: feeding, grooming (brushing if double coat), bathing if needed, walking or running with the pup, taking pup to dog park or dog beach if owner allows/ wishes, or simply getting “pet time” if pup enjoys this.
Soph was absolutely wonderful with my dog! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared deeply about making sure my pup felt safe, happy, and loved. I really appreciated the updates and photos during walks and sitting—it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home relaxed and happy, and I could tell they had a great time with her. I would happily book Soph again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive dog walker or sitter.
Anya (goes by Sophie) is one of those people I’d trust completely with my dog. She’s incredibly caring, responsible, and genuinely loves being around animals. Schedule
I am very available to be walking, giving attention to and keeping your dog company as I am not working full-time outside the home. I walk my own dogs every 4-6 hours, and they get to play in the yard in the mornings when it's still cool.

Safety, trust & environment
At my home, the dogs only get to play in the yard while someone is home, and at night, they stay indoors. There are plenty of cozy dog beds for them, and they're also allowed on furniture. Both dogs at home are vaccinated, taken to the vet regularly, and given monthly heartworm prevention tablets.
Pets
A typical day
Pack walks (or individual walks, depending on personality or fitness level), play with toys in the house, play with other dogs in the house and play time in the yard. Jogging or a special trip to the dog park may be requested as well.

- BOTH OUR DOGS ARE UP TO DATE ON VACCINATIONS, and your dog must be as well. If your dog jumps on people when greeting (or in general) please let me know so I can wear jeans or pants :) Any incontinence issues, I'd appreciate a heads up as well, as I'll want to make sure I am stocked up on paper towels :)
