What sets me apart is simple: I don’t know life without a dog. I’ve had a dog in my home since I was 2 years old. A dog wasn’t just a pet growing up, but was my first friend. I learned how to care for one before I even learned my ABCs. Because of that, being around dogs, understanding them, and taking care of them comes very naturally to me. When I moved away for college, the absence of having a dog at home was something I really felt. That’s what led me to start dog sitting- not just as something to do, but as a way to bring that sense of companionship back into my life. Over time, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy it and how comfortable I am with dogs of all kinds. I’m a very caring and attentive person. I pay close attention to the smallest details, whether it’s routines, behaviors, or specific do’s and don’ts that each dog may have. I take that responsibility seriously and always aim to create a safe, calm, and loving environment. As I’m graduating in two months, I now have the time and flexibility to fully dedicate myself to this. More than anything, I’m simply looking to fill my home with that same love again and give your dog a space where they feel just as cared for as they would with family.

Dare had a great stay with Anya! Dare was clearly very relaxed, exercised, comfortable and happy! Communication was great as well. It is clear Anya loves dogs and takes good care of them. We will be looking forward to the next stay.
Anya watched my dog for a couple days and took the best care of him. She took him on hikes, fed him treats and constantly kept me updated on what was going on. She made sure my dog was comfortable and safe. Would definitely reach out to her again anytime I am out of town or need some help :)
Anya took wonderful care of my dog Champy. From the moment they met he felt safe and comfortable with her. She treated him with so much love and kindness. It was clear that she truly enjoys spending time with animals. She made sure Champy was well fed exercised and happy each day. Anya also kept me updated which gave me great peace of mind. When I returned Champy was calm relaxed and clearly well cared for. He was excited to see her again which says everything about the bond they built. Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I build my schedule around it, rather than trying to fit it in. As I'm all finished with classes and set to graduate in 2 months, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time throughout the day to give dogs consistent attention, walks, and care. I’m home often, so your dog won’t be left alone for much time, and I can easily adapt to their specific routine whether that’s multiple walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or just companionship. On a daily basis, I prioritize structure and consistency, because I know how important that is for a dog’s comfort. At the same time, I’m very attentive and responsive, so I adjust based on each dog’s energy level, needs, and personality. Overall, caring for dogs isn’t something I squeeze into my routine but something I genuinely enjoy dedicating my time to.

I live in an apartment with a secure, fenced balcony for fresh air and supervised relaxation. Right across from my building is a large field, and I’m about an 8-minute walk from a dog park, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime, and exercise. I naturally enjoy going on walks throughout the day, so your dog will get regular outdoor time based on their energy level and routine. Inside the home, I maintain a clean, comfortable space and stick closely to your dog’s usual schedule, including feeding, walks, and any specific instructions or preferences you share. I’m very attentive to details, so I make sure to follow all do’s and don’ts carefully. I also have a roommate who is extremely fond of dogs and happy to help if I ever need to step out briefly, so your dog is never left without care or attention. Overall, my goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs both mentally and physically engaged, so I tailor activities to each dog’s personality and energy level. For more active dogs, I’ll take them on regular walks around the neighborhood, to the nearby field, and to the dog park for playtime and socialization. I also enjoy interactive games like fetch or light training exercises to keep them stimulated. For calmer or older dogs, I focus more on short walks, gentle play, and lots of attention and companionship. I’m also very patient and happy to just sit with them, give affection, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. At home, I like to include small enrichment activities like chew toys, basic training reinforcement, or just engaging play and talking to them to keep them happy and occupied. I also like to know their energy level, and how they typically behave around new people, other dogs, or in new environments. Any specific do’s and don’ts are very important to me, whether that’s things they’re not allowed to do, triggers to avoid, or habits you’re working on. If your dog has any medical needs, allergies, or medications, I make sure to follow instructions very carefully. I also appreciate knowing what they enjoy like their favorite toys, activities, or ways they like to be comforted because I want them to feel as at home and happy as possible. Overall, the more I know, the better I can tailor my care to make your dog feel happier and more comfortable
