I take care of client pets and houses as if they're my own. I'm very respectful of privacy and consider it an honor to be entrusted with something as precious as your loved one's safety and care. Being allowed into someone's home takes a level of trust, and I recognize and respect that trust and will never let you down. I am a nut about gate locks, security and animals being safe at all times.

I like to meet the dog with the owner before showing up to walk/baby sit them. That way the dog knows I'm 'okay'. I want to know the dogs needs, abilities, likes/dislikes, is it leash reactive, dog reactive, etc. I want to make every visit as positive for the animals as possible.
A typical day
I'm a big fan of taking dogs on sniffaris where they get to dictate the speed of the walk. I find this wears them out and is more fulfilling than simply making sure they do a prescribed distance. I backpack and hike with my own dogs and can take owner dogs to Castlewood Canyon or just around the neighborhood, whatever the owner would like

I've been pet sitting for over 20 years, fostering dogs/cats/horses for over 25, and was a vet tech and a dog groomer. I have a 4WD truck as well as an AWD Honda Element, so you can always count on me showing up. I have extensive experience with horses as well (Yes, I can blanket and do turn out).
