As much as possible. I seldom take dogs that are not confident on recall any longer. I am willing to train animals and to help develop healthy social habits if they need refining but this takes time and does not happen in just a few weeks. The main focus is for the dogs to have fun and receive their required daily exercise.
A typical day
I take dogs in my care to a variety of locations. I have a modified car that is able to securely transport up to 4 dogs safely.

I have a degree in Fashion Communications and NZ, UK and Croatian passports. I've lived in London, Amsterdam, Sydney and Auckland throughout the past 20 years. I grew up with family dogs but started working with a dog-trainer in March 2017 and within 6 months I was operating a doggy day care business, The Pet Guys catering for 25 dogs. I enjoy health and fitness and always take dogs under my supervision on adventures to different parks, beaches and walking trails. I specialise with medium to large sized dogs. I'm comfortable with up to the legal limit of 4 dogs at any time however I'm licensed for up to 8 dogs in specified public London locations. I have completed over 100 pet-sit assignments in Australia, Portugal, New Zealand & the UK. *Athough I do accept bookings for a single dog I prioritise multiple dog bookings. **At present I’m only accepting pet-sit assignments of 7 days or longer. ***For multiple dogs I am happy to offer a discount

This was our first time leaving our 3 year old pointer with anyone but the family, and to be honest, we were slightly nervous as Monty can suffer from some separation anxiety. I can honestly say that Antony was absolutely amazing with Monty. From the moment he walked through our gate, he bonded instantly with our dog and had such an instinctive way with him that we felt extremely happy from the word go. He was very kind and reassuring - spending time with us, getting to know all about Monty, and going on a walk together - so that we felt very comfortable leaving Monty in his capable hands. It's obvious that Antony is very experienced with dogs, but he is also has so much time and love for them. Whilst we were away he kept us updated with texts, photos and videos which was so reassuring. Monty is a large dog and needs long walks which Antony more than provided. On our return Monty was relaxed and happy, which was just the best thing to see! Antony popped by a week later as he was in the area and Monty was so excited to see him - greeting him like an old friend. He is a truly lovely, caring man and totally professional. I can't recommend him highly enough! Your dog will have the best possible care.
Antony is an extremely experienced and very calm-inducing animal lover. I felt super happy to have him house sit and care for my dogs and cats. Sure enough upon my return they were all perfectly exercised and content and the house was in mint condition. I highly recommend him.
We were very lucky to have Antony as a dog sitter for our 9 months choco lab, Rocky, when we were away to abroad. Antony listened carefully what Rocky likes, needs and his routines, etc, beforehand, and he gave us very thoughtful updates with lovely photos/videos during our holidays. Antony is very professional and trustful. We were just amazed by his kind care!
The dogs had a wonderful time meeting and walking with Antony, he's very experienced and showed excellent care and interest in their well being. We'll definitely book Antony again and thoroughly recommend him to our doggie friends.
