I enjoy spending time with animals, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure they always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and comfort level, so they can relax and feel at ease while their owner is away. I also provide regular photo and video updates so owners know how their pet is doing. I treat every home with respect by keeping it clean, secure, and following all instructions left by the owner. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives both pets and their owners peace of mind.

The most important thing that every Rover sitter should provide is a meet a greet. It’s a solid introduction of yourself, the owner, and the dog/cat. That way you can ask 3 simple questions that can help you engage with them. Are they friendly?/Do they have separation anxiety?/ Do they take medication of any sort? That you can analyze what the dogs/cats needs and wants; then by executing by showing pictures and videos in a calm and relaxed environment.
A typical day
Every pet has a unique personality, so I like to tailor activities to what they enjoy most. For dogs, that can include walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, light training with positive reinforcement, or simply exploring new smells on a neighborhood walk. For pets with lots of energy, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and playtime. For older or more relaxed pets, I’m happy to provide gentle walks, treat time, and a calm, comfortable environment for them to relax in.

I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for several years through my own pets as well as helping friends and family while they travel. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, maintaining feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, and providing plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
