At any point growing up, we never had less than two dogs, one cat, and one bird (Umbrella Cockatoos). My mother has volunteered at local animal shelters for years while continuing to do so today. Her genuine passion for caring for animals was passed onto my siblings and I from the moment we came home as newborns. Whether it was raising puppies/kittens, or behavior training with rescue pets, I've been around home pet care from a very young age. I've absorbed and learned more independently as I came to having pets of my own. I also worked as a Dog Groomer for a short (but busy) time in college. Over the years, I've cared for puppies/kittens, senior pets, and pets of all different behaviors. My wife and I currently have three cats and one dog at our home, so I'm actively involved in everyday pet care.
