My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week. 🐾 I’m an educator with a hybrid schedule, so I’m home for portions of the workweek and have availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pup. I’m also available on weekends and most holidays. I already plan my days around my own two dogs, so morning and evening walks, outdoor time, play, and plenty of attention are a natural part of my routine. I love being active and outdoors, and I’m happy to adjust walks and activities to your pup’s age, energy level, and usual routine. Whether your dog needs a midday check-in, a good walk while you’re at work, or some extra love and attention while you’re away, 🫶🐶

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority. 🐾 I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty and crate routines, and the household rules your pet already knows. I’m attentive on walks and especially mindful of leashes, doors, gates, other animals, weather, and each dog’s individual needs and cues. My background as a Montessori educator also influences the way I care for animals. I believe dogs are incredibly smart and benefit from many of the same things that help us learn and feel secure: patience, consistency, clear expectations, positive reinforcement, and an environment where they can safely explore and be themselves. I use calm, kind direction and redirection rather than harsh correction, and I give each pup time to build trust with me at their own pace. I’ll adjust activities to your dog’s age, personality, energy level, and normal routine and keep you connected with photos and updates along the way. My goal is for you to have peace of mind and for your pup to feel safe, understood, and cared for. 🌺❤️

The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! 🐾 I’d love to know about their personality, normal routine, favorite activities, energy level, and what makes them happiest. Please share any medical needs, medications, allergies or dietary restrictions, fears or triggers, behavioral quirks, and how they interact with other dogs, animals, and people. For walks and outings, it’s also helpful to know about leash behavior, reactivity, recall, mobility needs, or anything they tend to chase or avoid. And don’t forget the fun stuff! ❤️ Tell me about their favorite toy, favorite place to walk, treats they love, funny habits, whether they’re a cuddler or prefer their own space, and what really makes them happy.
A typical day
I believe all animals need to be mentally and physically engaged, but enrichment looks different for every pup. 🐾 I love getting to know what makes each dog light up and tailoring our time together to their personality, breed, age, energy level, and interests. My sweet sheepdog, Rex, was a herder through and through. He loved going to the park, catching Frisbees, running, and even trying to corral my son around the park! 😂 My two goldendoodles are completely different. They’re happiest taking their time on a good sniff walk, exploring their surroundings, and saying hello to everyone they meet. Those experiences taught me to appreciate what each individual dog finds rewarding. Enrichment might mean a leisurely sniff walk, active play, puzzles and toys, practicing familiar skills, exploring a favorite park, or simply having companionship and plenty of cuddles. I’ll keep outings familiar for pups who thrive on routine, while more adventurous dogs, with your permission, can enjoy longer walks, parks, easy hikes, and other dog-friendly adventures, like going to the beach. 🌺 I also love cooking for my pups! 🥕🐶 With your approval, I’m happy to prepare healthy meal toppers or bake homemade treats, always following your instructions about ingredients, allergies, sensitivities, and dietary needs. Ultimately, I want your pet to spend our time doing the things that make them happy. Whether I have an athlete, an explorer, a social butterfly, a champion sniffer, or a professional cuddler for the day, they’ll get individualized attention, enrichment, comfort, and plenty of love. 💕🐾

Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. 🐾 I’ve loved and cared for dogs with very different personalities, breeds, energy levels, and needs from curious puppies learning their way in the world to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and extra attention. What sets me apart is the patience and attentiveness I bring from my background as an educator. I’m observant, dependable, and genuinely enjoy figuring out what helps an individual animal feel happy and secure. I’m comfortable gently and consistently reinforcing puppy manners and established training, maintaining familiar routines, administering medications as directed, and providing the extra patience and care older pets may need. I’m also a lifelong animal lover beyond dogs and have cared for rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish. I understand that trusting someone with a beloved pet is a big deal. I want you to feel confident that while you’re away, your pet is with someone who will notice the little things, respect the way you care for them, and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. ❤️
