I work from home, so caring for your dog fits naturally into my day rather than around it. Mornings and evenings are the most active times — potty breaks, meals, and playtime built around whatever routine you tell me your dog is used to. Like most homes, there's a quiet stretch of about 4-5 hours during the day where dogs rest on their own, and I check in before and after. Feel free to send along a favorite bed or blanket — familiar smells help dogs settle in faster. Your dog's schedule always comes first: I match feeding times, walk routines, and bedtime habits to whatever you tell me, rather than asking your dog to adjust to mine.

Safety and stress-reduction aren't an afterthought here — they're the reason my setup looks the way it does. Your dog will not be mixed with my own resident dogs, and will not be mixed with any other guest dogs, under any circumstances. No supervised "meet and greets" between unfamiliar dogs, no shared yard time with dogs who don't already know each other, no exceptions. Each guest dog gets a full-sized private room of their own — never a small crate, never a kennel — for the entire stay, unless you specifically ask me to use a crate as part of their normal routine. I'm Rover-verified with an enhanced background check and Star Sitter status, so you always know exactly who's caring for your dog while you're away. The one exception: if your dog has a sibling or bonded housemate joining them, they're always welcome to share a room together, since they already know and trust each other.

Days here are unhurried: fresh air in the fenced yard, quiet time in their own private room, and attention that follows their pace rather than a strict schedule. There's a stretch of about 4-5 hours during the day where dogs rest on their own, and I check in before and after so there are no surprises.
