While Kathryn’s work schedule can be a little more unpredictable, Anthony works from home full-time. As a result, our availability is very flexible. We can easily integrate your pet’s needs into our schedules.

Your pet’s safety is our top priority. Prior to making a reservation, we will require an in-person meet-up to give our pets the opportunity to introduce themselves to each other. We keep dogs leashed at all times during walks (with the exception of open space areas and dog parks if you’re comfortable with it). While at home, our dog door will allow your pet to access our large, completely fenced-in yard as much or as little as it wants, if you allow it.

A typical day
We generally start and end the day with a long walk around the neighborhood, visiting the numerous trails and nearby parks. We end the walk at our large fenced back yard where we let the dogs run around, play fetch, and watch the resident squirrels. Throughout the day, we frequently let the dogs out in the yard to play, but they also have their choice of dozens of dog toys to play with inside or our comfy dog beds and couches to take a rest. Occasionally we take the dogs to the open space or dog park, but happy to keep it local too if you’d prefer!

Hi! We’re Kathryn and Anthony, a dog-loving couple that believes that every pet deserves to feel at home while their family is away. We have experience caring for pets of various ages, breeds, and sizes, including our sassy Pekingese mix, Cooper, and our energetic Cattle Dog mix, Milo. In addition to our own pups, we’ve spent the last several years caring for numerous family members and friends’ dogs, two of which were recovering from surgery.

Tony and Kathryn are lifesavers. Our dog Zuko LOVES going to their house. They are attentive, caring, and fun. He gets to play all day, their house has tons of space with a dog door, fenced in and gorgeous yard with lots of shade. Zuko always comes back tired and happy.
I cannot recommend Anthony highly enough! For years, he was the primary go-to caretaker for my Miniature Australian Shepherd, Moose. If you know Aussies, you know they are incredibly high-energy, fiercely intelligent, and demand a lot of mental and physical stimulation. Anthony didn't just 'watch' Moose; he truly understood what a dog like that needs to thrive. He managed intense exercise routines, kept him engaged with training and structure, and handled his diet and behavioral quirks with total patience and consistency. Anthony is the rare kind of sitter who treats your pet like absolute family. He is reliable, highly attentive, and incredibly responsible. Any pet parent would be lucky to have him looking after their furry family member—Moose and I give him five stars without hesitation!
Anthony and Kathryn are wonderful and reliable dog owners and sitters. They have plenty of experience taking care of elderly dogs with special needs and raising younger dogs. They've watched our puppy several times, sometimes for days at a time. They always asks plenty of questions to understand what kind of care our dog needs, which we really appreciate since our puppy has been recovering from a hip surgery while they was taking care of her. We always received a few pictures of how our dog was doing throughout the day, which helped us feel confident that she was happy and well taken care of. Overall, Anthony and Kathryn are excellent caregivers and I will certainly be having them take care of my dog in the future.
