I discontinued my career (working a 9 to 5 job) several years back so I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry family members. Being that I have such an open availability, it’s usually very easy for me to accommodate most schedules. This allows me lots of flexibility if your pet has specific needs for meal times and/or potty breaks. Three important things to share: 1) I do keep a short beard 99% of the time so I think it's important to know that should your pup not be too fond of men with beards. 2) I'm a big, tall guy (6'3" to be exact) in case that might be an issue for your pup's people preferences. 3) I have a leg condition that prevents me from being able to walk long distances, and occasionally, makes it difficult for short distances even. So if you're looking for someone to walk your dogs, or if your home or apartment complex involves stairs, I, unfortunately am not the right sitter for you. : )

While going on long walks might not be something I can do, I certainly love to play or just have some cuddle time with the pets that I sit for.

***COVID19 UPDATE: Fully vaccinated (including supplemental doses)*** I have been an animal lover since I was a boy and nothing brings me more joy then petting or playing with one. I am a big, teddy bear of a man with an exceptionally kind heart and disposition. Dogs and cats absolutely love me. : ) For several years, when I was able, I was even a Foster Dad for dogs and cats waiting to find their forever home. : )

Anthony really listens to the owners concerns and truly seems to enjoy the pets. it was a relief to find a pet sitter that I am comfortable with and that the dogs actually like. Since I recently moved back to Portland this is the first time I left these two dogs with a sitter and everything turned out perfect. Thank you Anthony! Now that I have found a reliable dog sitter I am already making plans for my next 2 mini vacations.
Anthony is wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. Our dog especially loved the care and companionship. Returning to a framed photo of the newest member of our animal family was an especially sweet touch. I highly recommend!
