Hey there, so I've worked with animals ever since I've had a job. I started out working at the Pell City Animal Shelter with my Mom years ago. Eventually, Dr Becky gave me a shot at a full time position at Animal House Vet Clinic, where I was also working part time along with full time at the shelter. As of posting this, I've been at the same clinic for just over 12 1/2 years now and don't plan to go anywhere. Caring for pets is just what I do. I don't see me doing anything else. I've pet-sit for years now also, but my last client recently called off the care, as they're moving, essentially. I work a full-time job in pet care, but if needed for my clients on Rover, I can try to stop by up to a max of three times a day. This would depend on if specific times are required. On work days, it would have to be before I head into work (which I get there at around 6:50am.) Mid day would be questionable, depending on distance, as it would have to be done over lunch. Later in the day would be fine in most cases, as I'm off work around 5:00. For the services I plan to continue providing through the Rover app, I'd basically do whatever pet owners need me to do that I can handle. Nail clips, drop-in pet sitting, administering any medications prescribed (if applicable), walks, etc. I go into this fully understanding that each and every situation is going to be different. And that's absolutely fine!

When pet sitting in the past, whether staying at a client's residence or doing drop-in visits, I do my best to treat not only the pets, but the property that the owner is trusting me in with respect.

Anthony Cannon is one of the select few (4 to be exact) that I have trusted to petsit my 12 1/2 year old dog through the years (I'm very particular.) Anthony will follow any special directions and lavish lots of love and attention on your best friend in your absence.
Regarding the recommendation of Anthony Cannon as a pet sitter/dog walker, I could not imagine ANY individual as being more qualified or deserving of a position involving these activites. He has been employed at my veterinary Clinic (Animal House Vet) in Harpersville Alabama, AL since I first opened the clinic in 2000, and continues to be devoted to every animal under our care. Anthony is the most hard working, RESPONSIBLE, and effective employee I have ever had. He is a devout lover of ALL animals and has an immediate connection with any pet AND pet owner. He continuously looks for tasks that need to be performed and is always considering what HE can do to help more animals. He is extremely responsible financially. I cannot imagine asy pet receiving better care and attention than Anthony would provide. he has my most sincere respect, admiration and recommendation.
Anthony would be my go to guy for taking care of my beloved Shadow! I have a very small circle of people I would trust with my dog and he is one of the few! I am completely confident in his dog care and handling skills. He truly has a big heart and lots of love for dogs, even those who are not his own, and it really shows when my Shadow gets excited to see him and be with him. When I leave Shadow with Anthony I know she is in caring, competent and loving hands. His vast experience in 'all things dog' makes him the perfect choice when you want to have your dog cared for while you go about your business worry free (you won't have to worry about your pup - and you'll feel that in the first few minutes of you and your dog meeting him for the first time).

I have known Anthony for about 20 years. He has become a very good young man. Loves animals and works at a vet clinic. He has helped care for my dogs for a long time. Anthony was so great with our Schoodle, Snickers. Snickers has always been a little nervous, but he bonded with Anthony quickly. Took great care of our dog.

Schedule
Working at a vet clinic and owning dogs of my own, pet care is already a daily part of my routine. I just use my spare time caring for other's pets as well.
