I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands on experience caring for Labradors and other dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines. I currently own a Labrador called Layla and have had Labradors in the past too, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, energetic dogs and dogs that love plenty of exercise and attention. I’ve also volunteered with Guide Dogs, which gave me valuable experience around dog behaviour, structure, patience, consistency and handling dogs calmly in different environments. Alongside caring for my own dogs, I’ve regularly walked and boarded friends’ dogs, helping them settle into a comfortable routine away from home. I genuinely enjoy learning more about dog behaviour, enrichment, body language and building trust with each dog individually. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and reliable and I’m happy caring for nervous, excitable, high energy or older dogs. I work from home, which means dogs staying with me get plenty of company, supervision, attention and care throughout the day and night. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their personalities properly. I aim to create a calm, home from home environment where dogs feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family.
