Hallo! Thank you for visiting my page. My services and fees are for over-night stays ONLY, from noon to noon -- no daily "drop-in" visits (although, on occasion, I will accept these for unusual or emergency situations). If you need me to come early in the day or stay late, I charge an extra half-day, as I will not be able to book the preceeding or following night. Please read all of this page, as it will probably answer a lot of your questions. Thank you. MINIMUM booking: two nights. No maximum. Longer bookings very welcome. Fees: $55/night for cats only $65/night dogs only OR dogs + cats __Potential extra fees: ___Extra cats = $10/night ___Extra dogs = $25/night Please contact me if the above fee schedule is unclear, or if Rover doesn't charge you correctly (very likely). I can adjust the final total manually. PLEASE NOTE: the last "day" of any of my pet-sittings is booked ONLY UNTIL NOON of that day. Therefore, if a booking ends on, say, the 5th., then THE NIGHT of the 5th. is available for booking. Rover's software is incapable of showing this. I have 25+ years' experience house/pet-sitting cats, dogs, birds and a gecko, plus very badic care of a few horses (feed, water, shovel sh1t). Have looked after several homes while they were under renovation -- as well as caring for the garden. I have helped raise various farm birds: ducks, geese, chickens, pheasants and peacocks. I am comfortable pilling dogs and cats, giving other medication, clipping toenails, brushing, bathing. Have given subcutaneous injections to cats. No problem with cats or dogs sleeping on the bed with me. Have fostered cats and kittens (once had 10 kittens at same time!). I have volunteered with the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, Meow Village (driving hundreds of miles to re-home cats) and Fences for Fido. I have house/pet-sat in both urban and rural areas. I look forward to hearing from you. **Special rates for long-term (3 weeks or longer) bookings, when possible. I love longer bookings; more time to connect with the pets!

The pets' safety, health and a calm environment are priorities. I like to keep the home and yard clean, and I try to leave the house in as good a condition as I found it, before I leave.

Anthea is wonderful!! We appreciated her daily updates with photos. It was so nice having her in our home to keep our 16 year old girl on her schedule. Anthea paid extra attention to the details! Our 9 year old girl was clearly well cared for as well! This is the best way to feel comfortable while traveling and knowing our dogs are getting the level of care and attention they deserve. Anthea took great care of our home as well! Already looking forward to our next booking!
Anthea is amazing and I’m so glad I found her! She took such good care of my three little dogs. Sent me pics every night before bed. Left the home spotless! I had zero worries knowing she was looking after my crew and my home. She’s a gem!!
Anthea is very deserving to be your petsitter, especially if you want a person who will be very respectful of your home and who will be very loving and kind in caring for your pets. She sincerely loves both cats and dogs and will treat them as if they are her own. And, that is exactly the type of person you want in order for you to enjoy a well-deserved vacation.
As always, Anthea is wonderful. I trust her with my kitties. I always get a report for the day and come home to happy angels!
Anthea is an incredible pet sitter. I do believe my cats get even more attention from her than they do from me, and that says a lot. She always goes above and beyond, and is meticulous about every detail. I appreciate her wisdom and gentle suggestions when she sees how something might be improved. The house is always cleaner than I left it, and my cats are always so very well attended to.

Schedule
Pet care is part of a regular day for me. As soon as I get up, my first concern is checking where all the pets are; for dogs, I let them outside immediately for a bathroom break, before doing anything else. I take care of pets' needs first, before I take care of myself.
