A typical day
I love to provide enrichment for the animals I care for to stimulate them mentally and physically! I will cater to the needs of the dogs I watch, whether that is providing more exercise or time playing with different toys. I will aim towards switching things up, like by playing new games or walking to new areas, so the dogs will not get bored!

Pet care experience
I was raised with all different kinds of pets at home, from dogs and cats to reptiles and birds. I started petsitting for my neighbors around 10 years old, so I have experience with a large variety of breeds and ages. I recently fostered two young kittens until they were old enough to be adopted and currently help train a 2-year-old therapy dog and an African grey parrot. I also have experience with vet work along with caring for livestock and zoo animals as I desire to work in the animal husbandry field!

Whether caring for dogs and cats, reptiles, birds, and even big cats and exotic animals at Zoo Miami where she interned, her love for the animals in her care is evident in the way she treats them. She pays great attention to detail and always gets the job done well, ensuring that any animal under her care gets all they need.
