I’m a student currently living in Leiden and a lifelong animal lover. I’m very familiar with medium and large-sized dogs, as I often help my friends and neighbors walk and take care of their dogs and I used to have a Border Collie–German Shepherd mix when I was a kid (sadly she’s already in heaven now). As a young person with passion and energy, I’m comfortable engaging dogs in active play such as fetch, frisbee, and tug-of-war to help them burn off energy in a healthy and enjoyable way, instead of just a normal “walk”.

Safety, trust & environment
At a client’s home, I would follow their instructions carefully and prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I would make sure the pet has fresh water, appropriate food if required, and a clean environment. I would also spend time interacting with the pet based on its personality and needs, whether that means active play, gentle companionship, or simply keeping them calm and company. During walks, I would ensure the dog is always safely leashed and avoid risky situations with other animals or traffic. I would also pay attention to any signs of stress or discomfort and adjust my behavior accordingly.

I’m currently a student so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. As a well-organized person, I always use my todo list to plan everything, including my pet care schedule.
