I follow instructions well and will provide gentle and loving care to your pets. I love playtime inside and outside and always welcome cuddles and companionship from any animal.
Information Annmarie S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know ahead of time your animal's special needs, behaviors, personality traits, how do they like to play, how to walk them comfortably for myself and the animal, and how to make them overall comfortable.
A typical day
With owning a high energy dog myself, I know how to stimulate mentally and physically. Training with treats, playing a find and catch game, walking your dog, and simply playing fetch. With owning two cats, I enjoy playing with a laser or feathery stick to stimulate a cat's attention needs.

Pet care experience
I've been a caretaker of animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large Golden Retriever who lost the ability to walk towards the end of her life. At the same time, my family and I would care for outdoor cats, rabbits, and even large quantities of ducks. As an adult, I have two cats and a dog at ages 12, 9, and 8 years old, all in which are rescues. I am confident and strong in walking larger dogs who pull and may be reactive to other dogs. I have trained my dog to ease up on pulling and to be less reactive when seeing other dogs across a street while on walks. As a care provider for your animals, I will treat them as my own with gentle love and care. I am a pet sitter for most of my friends as they have trust in my care and ability to hold multiple responsibilities. In addition to pet care, I am also a nanny/babysitter and work for the university's Art Department as an Academic Advisor. Care taking and providing acts of service to anyone and anything are what makes up my core identity and personality.
Reviews

Annmarie is wonderful! We were worried our cats would be on edge from us leaving them for a weekend shortly after moving to Madison, but they weren’t at all thanks to Annmarie’s care. We’ll definitely reach out to her next time we’re going out of town.

Annmarie was delightful to work with and a real blessing to our animals.

Annmarie has watched Winston for us multiple times now. She really goes above and beyond to make sure our boy is well taken care of! Our pup is not an easy dog, and requires multiple attempts at walks and potty breaks. She's patient and caring with him - making sure all his needs are met while we're away! Not only does she take great care of Winston, she goes above and beyond to keep us updated while we're away. We're so grateful to have found such a wonderful pet sitter.

Annmarie did an excellent job taking care of our cat. I would highly recommend!
