I have over a year and a half of hands-on experience working in a high-volume pet care environment as a manager at PetSmart’s PetHotel. In this role, I was responsible for the daily care and supervision of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, administering medications, monitoring behavior and health, and ensuring a safe, clean, and stress-free environment. I also managed group play sessions, handled dogs with varying energy levels and behavioral needs, and was trained to recognize signs of stress, illness, or aggression. As a manager, I led a team, handled customer communication, and ensured every pet received individualized attention and care.

I follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, and ensure regular potty breaks or litter box maintenance. I closely monitor each pet’s behavior and health, watching for any signs of stress or illness. With my experience as a PetSmart PetHotel manager, I’m confident handling pets with a variety of temperaments and needs, including administering medications when required. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and keep everything clean and organized. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I structure my day around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they receive consistent attention, timely feedings, and regular check-ins. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for throughout the day.
