I love having pets around and regularly dog sit for friends and family. I’ve also been dog and house sitting since high school for neighbors and family friends, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets in their own homes and keeping their routines consistent. I grew up with a yellow lab and two cats, which gave me a lot of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats from a young age. In high school I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped with feeding, cleaning, and spending time with the animals to make sure they felt comfortable and cared for. I’m responsible, active, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company at home. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

This was Mochi's first time staying with Annika. We live in the Charlestown Navy Yard so it was super convenient to drop and pick her up. We got pictures of Mochi during her quick stay. Great rate. Would use her again based on price, updates, and location to home. Love that Annika is near the Charles for the nice walks near the water.
Annika took very good care of our two cats Mia and Mars when we were out of town. We had a meet and greet first and she followed all the instructions. Her communication is great. We had to move drop off and pick up time and we appreciated the flexibility.
Annika is a reliable and caring pet sitter who I have trusted to look after my dog Stranger on multiple occasions. Annika truly loves animals and enjoys every minute she spends around dogs. She takes him on long walks that end in the occasional pup cup. Annika is a quick and thorough communicator who will always update you on your pet's happiness by sharing descriptions and photos. You can definitely trust Annika with all your pet care needs.

I have a very dog friendly apartment building right next to the esplande - super convient for river walks and playtime! I also have fenced in areas nearby for off leash running
A typical day
We will go on walks by the esplande and common to checkout fun smells, play fetch in the nearby fenced baseball field, and stick to routines as best we can!
