My family and I have known Annika since she was a sweet, bright, and animal-obsessed four-year old. Annika, her parents, twin sister and little brother have always had and lovingly cared for multiple pets, their own and those of friends and neighbors, and whenever the kids would get together for playdates and hangouts, Anni would show up with a stuffed animal toy while other girls played with their dolls. Needless to say, it came as no surprise to us when Annika announced she was going into veterinary medicine and that she is working tirelessly to above her childhood dream and lifelong passion. And a “side” note: we became a pet family much later that Annika’s, first welcoming two shy geckos and later two adorable social cats, and every time we went to Annika for advice or care, both helpful and knowledgeable. Annika is very reliable and loving with all pets - she pays attention to detail and behavior. She has taken care of all my pets, walks and house sitting - my 2 large dogs as well as our shy cat and our pet gecko. She is comfortable giving medication to all. All my animals love her. She will make a great vet one day!

I am a dog rescue and have 100s of dogs come through my home. I hired Annika to help me with one of my special little pups. Sunny had been adopted by a woman who returned her 9 months later and 20 pounds heavier. Annika's job was to exercise Sunny on a daily basis as she needed to lose 20 pounds before I could adopt her. Annika was very conscientious and professional, and she spent the entire summer (3 months) exercising Sunny 5 days a week. She never missed a day, and she was always on time. She is very responsible and takes her commitments seriously. She loves dogs and that shows in her work. I would hire Annika in a heartbeat to take care of any of my pups.
