WFH dog lover with backyard
My husband and I have had many years of experience with dogs. We have a rescue that we adopted a year and half ago. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay! Annika and John took incredible care of our dog overnight and kept us updated with tons of photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. We felt so comfortable leaving our pooch in such good hands. We will definitely be back!
Very communicative and understanding care takers. Sent daily pics and updates and were able to accommodate me and my pup with extended days of care when I was stranded at the airport with delayed and canceled flights.
Annika and John are wonderful! They took great care of my anxious and needy pup for a week and kept me in the loop with daily photos and updates which I really appreciated. They took note of all my dog’s needs and asked questions, I could tell they really cared. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with them and will happily rebook!
Annika, John, and Pepper are perfect sitters for our shy dog! She gets lots of time to play/explore, spoiled with cuddles, and loves going over there. They’re always communicative throughout the stay.

Annika and John were awesome. They have a great little dog named pepper that is full of love and energy. They sure took the nervousness out of what we had,lleaving our dog tiny Tessa behind, but she was in good hands and we got daily pictures and it all went better than we could’ve expected. Schedule
My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. We are available 7 days a week currently. Beyond that we’re both homebodies who love to take our dog on long walks around the neighborhood.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard with locked gates and one 20 lb female rescue pup to keep your dog company. We allow dogs on the furniture/bed, but we can also crate your dog if preferred. Our home is a single story with no stairs. Dogs will never be left alone together for safety purposes and will never be in backyard unsupervised. We can accommodate frequent bathroom breaks, but your dog must be potty trained.
Pets
A typical day
I work hard to keep my dog stimulated mentally and physically with long walks with plenty of time to catch every sniff. We live near Columbia Park which my dog loves to investigate with her nose. I have a few options for mental stimulation like sniff mats, kong, puzzles. Also happy to try and teach some tricks which helps tire my dog out mentally when the weather is bad.

- Let me know what environment your dog prefers and I'll do my best to accommodate. Happy to work with dogs that need daily medication. My dog required a ton of downtime to decompress when we first adopted, so familiar with keeping calm environments. My house is pretty quiet as we are not on a major road.
