With my own pet, I make it a priority to walk at least 3 miles each day with her. We also go to a variety of dog parks and other social places. I work from home so I am able to prioritize time caring for my pet (and other pets in my community) above all else.

All I ask for is complete transparency regarding your dog’s demeanor, behavior, etc. so I can be prepared myself and know how to best serve them and you as well. I would also like to be advised of any medications, allergies, etc. ahead of time so that I can fully prepared and at my best for each dog. :)
A typical day
Keeping dogs active and challenging them each day (both mentally and physically) is what is most important to me. I always start with some outdoor playtime, whether that be through a walk or play time at a dog park. I always bring my enrichment dog puzzle for the dog to play with/solve to keep them stimulated and allow them to “work for” their treats! The puzzle is a circular puzzle, where you can hide little treats in different compartments and the dog has to sniff and use their paws to uncover the treats. It is very beneficial to a dog’s brain and physical health!

Hello everyone! My name is Annika and I am a 24 year old young professional and animal lover who works full time from home and is looking for opportunities to help care for fur babies around the community! I have been dog sitting and walking since I was 11 years old and have a great understanding of all kinds of different dogs. I am a dog mom to my own 3 year old Golden Retriever, Indy! She keeps me on my toes and makes all my days brighter! I walk and am outside constantly in all weather, and I want to use this as an opportunity to help families who need some extra assistance with their own fur babies! I am very flexible and easy going and excited to meet you! :)

Annika is amazing! She took such good care of our fur baby while we were out of the country for a week. She made Nola feel right at home, and she sent us daily updates and photos while we were gone. We are so grateful to have found Annika and will absolutely use her again in the future!
