Communication is of the utmost importance to me. I take my job looking after people’s pets and homes as seriously as I can, in order to do that the line of communication must remain open and strong. Safety is my other extremely important pillar, I want my clients to feel as safe as possible and for that to happen I also need to feel 100% safe wherever I or your pets are. As for my home, I live in a condo building steps away from a walking trail and the downtown area that provides lots of lovely strolling areas. The condo itself is quite large with a deck for the pups to relax on if they need some sunny time.

If a dog has allergies, isn’t friendly with other dogs or has a history of disliking children, cats, squirrel chaser, etc. Also, the feeding routine is very important for comfortability and security so a full run down of that is required. Again, communication is of the highest importance.
A typical day
I love to go on walks, drive to hiking trails or just explore the area on foot. Missoula has been my home for 13 years and there are plenty of lovely parks I enjoy visiting when dog sitting.

I have house sat and pet sat for going on 7 years in Washington, Montana and California- I’m experienced with all kinds of breedings and training as well. I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and often prefer animals to people. I have watched over many animals since I was in high school and love watching over pups and cats of all kinds.

Annika is the most kind and compassionate Rover we’ve interacted with. We were in a pinch with a previous sitter falling through and she willingly helped us out last minute. She was also an amazing communicator, shared regular updates, and made us feel at ease living our pup with her. Annika has a very calming presence and our firework-anxious pup did very well with her over July 4th weekend. Highly recommend and am already looking for another time to book her.
Annika is the best dog sitter and walker our pup has ever had! She is cheerful, energetic and has a wonderful sense of humor. Our blue heeler, Ozzie Bailey, adores Annika.
I am obsessed with my dogs... you can ask Annika, she has watched both of mine. I had I shiba who lived to 19 and he loved Annika. I trusted her with him when he was at his worst. Right before he passed I got an 8 week old mini aussi, who I took with me everywhere.... as a puppy, she would watch Neva for me and I would text constantly for updates. Annika never minded. She's great with geriatric dogs and tiny puppies. Book her now; your dog will be appropriately smothered with love and gentle guidance ❤️
