I’ll love them like my own
I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, and have only grown to love them more into adulthood. I have several years’ experience caring for cats, dogs, and other animal friends, including horses, rodents, reptiles, birds, and fish. I also have 3 fur babies myself, Nacho, Cheeto, and Tucker, who are the lights of my life! I am originally from Minnesota and am currently doing a biomedical research fellowship after getting my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology & Pharmacology this past spring. My schedule is flexible to work around yours! As a lover of flora and fauna of all sorts, I have a passion for learning about and working directly with animals to improve their overall wellbeing and health. I can provide exercise, cuddles, and enrichment through play and interaction, with daily care to ensure your pet feels safe and happy in your absence. Additionally, I’m experienced in administration of medications, caring for senior and special needs pets, grooming, and monitoring for any signs of illness or distress. I will also maintain the cleanliness of your household, collect mail, water plants, and perform any other home care tasks as needed. I aim to maintain timely, direct communication with you in order to build a trusting relationship! Your baby’s happiness, safety, and comfort are my top priority!

I can provide pretty much any in-home service your pet may need, with complete customization of care and only the best treatment for your pet. This includes caring for special needs, young/ senior, and large pets, as well as anxious or rescue pets. I will follow their dietary instructions as directed by you, and offer them daily enrichment and exercise through play and interaction. Additionally, I’m experienced in administering medication (oral, injected, and dermal), basic first aid, grooming, basic training, and of course providing the best cuddles and top tier belly scratches. Their comfort, joy, and safety is my utmost priority and I have full respect for your personal preferences or requirements.

Annika did a wonderful job with our two cats on a recent getaway. She even got the shy one to come out to say hello! She made our first experience with Rover an easy one. We arrived home to happy kitties with a tidy feeding area. Thank you Annika!
I can not Thank Annika enough!!!! I always feel so sad leaving her when i go in for my 12hr shift and my anxiety is eased knowing she has a great sitter watching her. She is soo amazing with Brooklyn!!

Annika made my first Rover experience so pleasant. She took so many photos and kept me updated with sweet notes on how my cat was doing. Annika fed my cat her oral medication with no issues. I was able to really relax during my vacation knowing Penny was in good hands. She went above and beyond to keep things neat and tidy. Schedule
I am currently working 1 other job in a lab full time, but have flexible availability. I’m open to bookings almost every morning and evening on weekdays and also have full availability on weekends. I am more than happy to arrange bookings during the times that work best for you!
