I prefer caring for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I always follow the pet's usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, walk times, playtime, and any medications or special needs. I also make sure to spend quality time with them so they feel loved and at ease while their owners are away. I'm respectful of the home and always aim to leave it just as I found it, if not better. My goal is to provide both pets and their humans peace of mind during every stay.

I have had pets my whole life including dogs, cats, and even frogs! From I young age, I have been trusted by friends, neighbors, and family members to look after their pets. I genuinely enjoy meeting new animals, and when looking after them I make sure to go beyond the minimal check-in to actually get to know the animal and devote time to playing with them.

Annika loves pets and is also very knowledgeable about what makes them tick. She taught me how to get along with new cats by using the slow blink to put them at ease. When did-sitting over 4th of July, she made “thunder jacket” to wrap the pup and put fears from the noise out of his mind. I give Annika my highest recommendation with no reservations as a pet sitter.
