I have a family dog named Posie and my own cat named Walter, as well as two more cats that I help my partner raise! I know how important it is to ensure your baby is in good hands and getting some extra love while you’re away. I have petsit both cats and dogs with varying temperaments and am very familiar with caring for other people’s pets. I might be new to offering services on Rover, but pet care is definitely not new to me and I am enthusiastic to meet your pet sitting needs!

I am very attentive when it comes to my own pets and know that you will expect the same care for your own. I always make sure to discuss boundaries with my clients (for the pets and for you!), and will ask in advance about how I can make your pet feel the most comfortable when I am around them.

Annika was an amazing cat sitter! She made sure Zelda had food, water, and a clean litter box, then spent some quality playtime with her and sent some sweet photos. Would highly recommend her to take care of your pets!
Annika has been the best cat sitter we’ve ever had! You can tell she is naturally an animal person and genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. Our cat, Pancake, is pretty particular about people and doesn’t warm up to everyone, but from the pictures and videos Annika sent us, she was completely comfortable, purring, and clearly getting lots of love and attention. It gave me so much peace of mind while we were on vacation knowing Pancake was in such good hands. Annika sent us tons of pictures along with detailed updates after each visit, and she was incredibly communicative and flexible throughout the entire process. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We really appreciate Annika and will absolutely be reaching out to her again anytime we need a cat sitter!

Annika is great with pets! I have two cats with special health needs and she went above and beyond for them. She gave medicines, maintained their complex feeding routine and even brought them to and from the vet without any complications. Normally my two cats are anxious around newcomers but I received many updates and photos of them playing and coming up to her for pets. Annika is very responsible and responsive and a great / trusted choice to pet sit.
Annika has helped care for my pets and pets I’ve previously watched! I always refer clients to her if I’m already booked because I trust the experience and safety she provides for pets and owners alike. I feel comfortable and happy knowing my own animals will be spending time with someone they genuinely like and have a good relationship with. She is deeply compassionate, responsible, understands canine communication and boundaries, and is respectful of people’s time and spaces. She also takes great photos! I would highly recommend Annika to anyone looking for short or longer term services.

Schedule
I work full-time remotely, but I have a relatively flexible schedule especially in the mornings and evenings. I also have a car, so I can quickly make it to you to do drop-ins during the week. I usually go out of town once or twice a month, but I will always provide heads up notice and update my calendar as best as I can.

- Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or if I should be extra attentive towards anything. Does your pet have any medical concerns I should be aware of? Do they need to be given any medication or other treatment? Also, it would be great if you can provide some background on your cat/dog’s temperament and preferences, so I can do my best to interact with them the way they prefer.
