I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life. I began pet sitting and walking for neighbors when I was 13 and have continued to care for friend's dogs and cats since then. I have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs of small, medium, and large size. I also have experience with rescue dogs with anxiety and specific triggers.

I believe in building trust with dogs through consistency, positive reinforcement, kindness, and lots of play, as well as keeping to your typical routine. I typically do not allow leashed dogs to greet each other due to safety risks unless you are specifically working on socialization, but have experience handling dogs showing fear or aggression when around other dogs.

Annie Rose is a sensitive and responsible dog sitter and walker. When she comes through the door our dogs just freak out with happiness. She is calm and sweet with them. Annie Rose is attentive to training needs and she is very consistent with our dogs. She likes to give them extra time to sniff outside - which is great for them - and when inside she is extremely attuned to their needs. Animals can sense someone who is compassionate and kind and they stick by Annie Rose, follow her commands, and of course they love to have a good cuddle. We enthusiastically recommend Annie Rose for any work takes to dogs and other animals.
Rosie is the best, and my cat thinks so too! When I’m out of town, I can always count on Rosie to give my cat all the care and attention she needs.

Schedule
I currently work freelance and have full control of my schedule. My availability for walks is fully open every day of the week after 10 am and my availability for sitting varies week to week but I am typically able to move my commitments around.
