I am new to Rover, however I'm not new to pet sitting and pet care! I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up (cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, and more). I started pet sitting by helping out my friends when they go out of town, but am now hoping to expand my horizon to take care of more pets on Rover!

I have a 100 lbs husky/peyrenees mix dog who shows signs of anxiety or stress when im not around. Her name is Bella. It was Bellas first time with Annie, so I was naturally a bit uncertain as well. But Annie was incredible in taking care of Bella, in keeping me updated with the progress, and in being thoughtful about what she may need/require. I will ask for Annie's help in the future and I highly recommend her to others.

We boarded our dog with Annie over a long weekend and had a great experience. Annie was flexible and responsive with pickup/drop-off times, and we were very grateful for that. I cannot thank Annie enough for the amazing job she did pet sitting my spirited Shiba dog! Annie provided daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation, which kept my Shiba happy and content during my absence. She also followed my specific instructions for my dog's dietary needs and provided regular updates on my Shiba's well-being, which reassured me that my pup was in great hands. I could tell that she treated my Shiba as if she were her own, and I felt completely at ease leaving my precious pup in her care. Annie was very responsive and respectful in her communication while dogsitting for me. She took care of my dog Mochi while I was away on a trip and did a great job! I gave her instructions for feeding, including walking and potty schedules, and she followed them without any issues. Mochi is a very energetic dog that needs constant interaction and loves to play all the time! So I was glad that Annie was able to spend time with him while I was away. She was very kind to send updates regularly of his walks and playtime -- and the two got along so well! I will definitely be asking Annie to watch Mochi for me again in the future.

Schedule
I graduated from University of Michigan in May of 2022, and now work full time remotely in tech. I work 9-5 with a flexible work schedule. I regularly take walks and breaks throughout the work day and like to get outside.

A typical day
I often play with my dog in the backyard playing fetch, tugofwar, etc. I am open to exploring new areas of the city as well as sticking to routes I’m familiar with!
