Calgary’s Dependable Pet Services

With five years of experience at Rover and a portfolio of private clients, I possess extensive expertise in caring for a diverse range of canine and feline companions, spanning various ages and sizes. Notably, I have had the pleasure of interacting with majestic Maine Coon cats and special needs dogs. My responsibilities have included administering medication, eye drops, and insulin injections to pets, as well as handling dogs exhibiting high levels of stress and anxiety, such as those that pull on leashes or react to other animals. Throughout my interactions, I prioritize providing affectionate care, mirroring the love and devotion I would offer to my own pets. Animals have been an integral part of my life since childhood; I volunteered at a pet shop at the age of 10 and have always shared my home with dogs, cats, and other creatures. Previously, I worked with Casca in Montreal, fostering cats and bottle-feeding kittens. Additionally, I have adopted a street dog and several cats, and friends entrust me with their pets due to my dependable and caring nature. I am confident that you will feel assured leaving your pet under my care.

Safety, trust & environment

I prioritize safety. Consequently, I do not walk dogs in temperatures below -20 degrees Celsius, as it is crucial for both your dog's and my well-being. Depending on weather conditions, I offer two options for dog walks: a visit to a securely fenced dog park where dogs can freely explore and interact, or a walk around the neighbourhood, according to your preference. Weather permitting, within a temperature range of up to -20 degrees Celsius, I provide off-leash dog walking services at an enclosed dog park, allowing dogs to engage in unrestricted running and socialization with other canine companions. During spring, summer, and fall, I also offer leashed hiking excursions in the mountains for dogs whose owners are interested, (weekends only). Alternatively, I can accommodate requests for neighbourhood dog walks, tailored to meet individual preferences. For an additional fee, I provide private, scheduled visits to an enclosed park facility in Airdrie, designed for dogs that require separation from others, thereby ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for dogs with reactivity issues.

This was our first time using Annie and we were not disappointed! She took exceptional care of our 9 year old bulldog, including taking him on car rides to his favourite walking place and allowing him to be his usual bed hog. We got frequent updates and photos, and came back to a spotless home. We will be using her again for sure! Thanks again Annie 🥰

Annie took such good care of my two vizslas while I was away. They are hyper active dogs so it’s no easy feat. Her communication and transparency was so appreciated! Thank you Annie!

Schedule

As a full-time caregiver for individuals with special needs, my schedule consists of working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend shifts. To ensure the well-being of canine companions, I recommend arranging for a midday dog walker or someone to let the dogs out. When overnight care is required, I am available to sleep on-site. My standard dog care routine includes 30-minute to 1-hour walks, tailored to the dog's ability, or letting them out into the securely fenced backyard as per the owner's preference.
