Availability
I work full time in the Cadillac area Monday through Friday, so weekday pet care is planned around my work schedule. I’m generally available before and after work during the week, with much more flexibility in the evenings and on weekends. For house sitting bookings, I stay overnight in your home with your pets so they can remain comfortable in their own environment and stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. On workdays, I’ll be away during my normal working hours but will be there before and after work and overnight. Depending on your location and my workday, I may also be able to stop in during the day. I’m always upfront about my schedule before accepting a booking and only take stays that are a good fit for both my availability and your pet’s needs. I’m happy to go over your pet’s normal routine ahead of time so we can make sure the schedule works well for everyone. 🐾

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and leave your pets in their care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, and household rules. I’m mindful about keeping doors, gates, leashes, and other areas secure and will never put your pet in an unfamiliar or potentially unsafe situation without your permission. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. While you’re away, I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. If I ever have a question or notice something out of the ordinary, I’ll always communicate with you rather than assume. 🐾

Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know as much about their normal routine and personality as possible! Please let me know about feeding and potty schedules, medications, favorite activities, sleeping or crate routines, and any house rules you’d like me to follow. I’d also like to know about any fears, anxiety, triggers, allergies, medical concerns, behavioral quirks, or history of aggression or escaping. For dogs, please let me know how they typically do on walks and around other dogs, people, or wildlife. And don’t leave out the little things! If they have a favorite toy, need their blanket arranged a certain way, refuse to eat unless you stand nearby, or have any other wonderfully weird habits, I want to know those too. The more I know about your pet, the easier it is for me to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾
A typical day
A typical day with me will depend on your pet’s normal routine and personality! I want their time with me to feel as familiar and comfortable as possible, so I’m happy to follow whatever schedule they’re already used to. For dogs, that might mean morning and evening walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, backyard time, or plenty of couch cuddles after a long day. If your dog loves being active, I’m always up for a good walk or some extra playtime. If they’re more of a professional napper, I’m perfectly happy with that too! For cats, I’ll keep up with meals, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime, and whatever level of attention they decide I’m worthy of that day. 😸 Whether they want to play, cuddle, follow me around the house, or simply supervise me from across the room, I’m happy to let them set the pace. For house sitting, I stay overnight in your home and spend my mornings, evenings, and nights with your pets. My goal is for their days to feel as normal as possible while you’re away with a little extra love and attention thrown in! 🐾

I’ve had dogs in my life for years and currently have dogs of my own, so I know just how much they become part of the family. I have experience with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and personalities from energetic pups who are always ready for their next adventure to senior dogs who need a little more patience and a slower pace. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, crate routines, playtime, basic medications, and giving your dog plenty of attention and affection. I also understand that some dogs can be nervous or anxious when their people are away, so I’m happy to take the time to let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’ll always do my best to follow your dog’s normal routine and any instructions you leave. I’m also happy to send pictures and updates along the way, because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pup is happy, safe, and being well cared for while you’re away! 🐶🐾

Annie is my go to for dog sitting! My golden retriever Andrew is very high energy, and when he’s with Annie I know he is going to get lots of play time! He loves when Annie spends the night with him too and gets extra snuggles 🥰 Annie is dependable and reliable, and will send updates and pictures throughout the time we’re away to keep us posted on how he’s doing. She really is the best!
Annie is a wonderful dog sitter for our Zoey! Annie stays in our home because Zoey is a homebody and doesn't like kennels. Zoey must love having Annie take care of her because she wants to sleep in Annie's bed. Annie is very responsive in communications with us checking on Zoey while we are gone. She is respectful of our home We totally trust Annie and would recommend her to anyone.
Annie is a very trusted dog sitter! We have 3 golden retrievers and they love her! Annie stays at our house when we are gone and we feel very secure in knowing that the dogs are getting the attention they need. She walks them daily and plays with them. Also Annie is a wonderful house guest. The house is usually cleaner when we get home then how we left it!!! We highly recommend her!
I lived across the street from Annie for a few years. During this time I trusted my two boys with her and my doodle, Frank! She's super reliable and makes time with her so fun! She spoils her own dogs who are very well behaved and adjusted to other dogs and people which made being neighbors with her very easy and lovely. She respects the care that dogs require and has a steady calm demeanor with animals and children alike. She has a very personable personality and is a wonderful caretaker. I know that she truly enjoys dogs and most other animals and would recommend her to anyone, with confidence!
