I grew up in a very animal friendly house. I've been taking care of dogs,, pigs, goats and everything in between my whole life! At the moment I have the love of three dogs a chihuahua, a border collie, and an Australian shepherd. I participate in a lot of activities surrounding animals. My border collie and I work and compete in agility training and basic manners. I also volunteer at a training center for dogs that go on to support military veterans with PTSD and other disabilities from service. I have experience at puppy training courses with both my own and other dogs! I know leaving your furry family behind for trips or work is hard. I hope I can make it easier and give them lots of love while you're gone!

Annie has the biggest heart and the most gentle approach when it comes to taking care of any animal. She has many dogs and horses of her own, and always spoils them with love, affection, playtime, and care. Annie has taken care of my two dogs on numerous occasions and they’ve had the BEST time with her. She’s always attentive to their needs and loves them like she loves her own. I couldn’t recommend using Annie more to take care of your pets. I know they will not only have a great time, but you’ll also feel reassured throughout the whole stay that your pets are receiving the utmost care.
I’m happy to recommend Annie Hawks as a pet caregiver. She is incredibly responsible, attentive, and genuinely loving towards animals. Annie takes the time to get to know each pet’s needs. She would tailor her caregiving based on what they need. Whether it’s daily routines, special situations, or just giving extra attention she is suited for all. I trust her completely and she will do a wonderful job for Rover. She also has a vet tech license which she received in high school which helps her meet the needs of her clients. Any pet would be lucky to have Annie take care of them.

I will be going into community college but I am able to be with the pets in the afternoon and in into the later nights

Safety, trust & environment
I have and 3 dogs at home. I am able to crate or separate them as needed. My dogs are all friendly and my youngest loves to play ball or any toys. The two oldest prefer to be doing their own thing but will sometimes play with others. I have a big fenced back yard and big pastures to take walks in and a large hill that can be hiked.

A typical day
I love to do enrichment mentally and physically where I can use puzzles and food to motivate for natural behaviors like sniffing or searching and promote movement.
