I work for myself so can base at home as much as needed around dog sits. Occasionally, I look after horses so if suitable the dog can join me for a fun half day outside. I am active so will take the dog fun places to explore if they are happy to travel & if they like to run they can join me for some extra exercise. I teach yoga 2 evenings a week locally meaning the dog/dogs would need to be ok left for 1.5hours. With my own dogs I've always taken them everywhere with me & have a dog-friendly friendship group so I am happy taking your pup for social walks & pub visits too (when appropriate for the dog).

I have a fenced garden. I let the dogs in all the rooms so they can be with my while I work. I tend not to let them on furniture but if it is something they are used to, I can put some dog towels on the sofa for them to settle.

A typical day
A typical day would be wake up, hop in the car & go for a nice walk, time dependent on their fitness needs. Then the dog can hang out with me while I work from home with regular play breaks in the grass garden. Come the evening they can go for a second walk either around the block or another trip in the car somewhere fun - I live in the Surrey hills so we're spoilt for choice. I have lots of friends with dogs so if your dog likes being social they can have walks with friends, if they like swimming there's lots of nice spots I can take them too.

I've worked professionally with animals (competition horses) since my teens & always had big dogs myself from German shepherds to mountain dogs. I'm calm & professional & the space has a lovely garden. I don't have my own pets currently or any children so your pet really will get undivided attention. I work for myself so can be flexible & at home when I have sits. I'm happy to have dogs 1:1 or if you're going away with family/friends & want your pups that already know each other to stay together, I am happy to cater this. I'm confident tailoring needs for old or injured/rehabing dogs, & am also an active runner - so if you have one that needs extra stimulation, I am happy taking them for canicross fun too.

Annie recently looked after my dog when I went away for a week. Not at any point did I worry about him! As a dog that can suffer from separation anxiety I knew Annie was the person to look after Douglas as she has a natural way with animals and they tend to gravitate to her with so much trust. I received updates and pictures throughout that time and Douglas couldn’t have looked like he enjoyed his time more. He had daily adventures and thoroughly enjoyed his week. Annie loves animals, has always had dogs and spends a lot of time outside. She has provided day and overnight care for my dogs and those of my friends, and they are always happy to go to her. She gives them good walks and lots of attention. Annie is very reliable and responsible.
