Incredible experience. Annie was flexible and communicative and showed patience and understanding with our dog. He came home happy, tired and well loved.

Annie is a gem! Having previously worked at a veterinary clinic, I have had many experiences with pet sitters and owners. It takes a really unique skillset to be a good pet sitter. People and pet skills, balance of fun and loving with responsibility and awareness - its a rare package and Annie has it. I can honestly say that I've never had greater peace of mind about leaving my dog in someone's care. My dog, Abbey, has had health issues that have resulted in the need for daily medications and food to be specially prepared. Annie patiently listened to and read my long winded instructions, kept me posted, and most importantly - provided Abbey with the attentiveness and care she needs. Add to that, the long walks and adventures these two took and it's a dream package. Truly, Abbey glows after spending time with Annie -shes is one happy and relaxed and super smiley pup- and to me, that says it all. Can not recommend Annie enough. If you're able to find a free spot in her calendar - snag it. Your pets will thank you.

Annie is a natural when it comes to pet loving personality. She watched my dogs for two weeks recently and they loved her. She is so caring and very responsible! One of a few list of people I would trust with my babies. Highly recommend Annie for all of your pet needs!

Putting your dog in the care of another can require many levels of trust. For me, it means trusting that my dog will not only have their essentials met (exercised for this amount of time, water/food provided, meds given etc) but be loved, cared for, safe, and also have fun! in my absence. Annie offers all of this and more 1000%. When I leave my dog in Annie's care, I know that she'll come back fulfilled and hopefully, kind of tired. Honestly, I sometimes wish I had time to join their walks. Annie knows how to properly handle dogs and her judgement is sound and solid. I never worry about Annie getting into or creating a situation - eg dog off leash when she wasn't supposed to be, taking her to a park where there may be incidents with other dogs, leaving her tied up outside of a busy coffee shop without proper amount attention on her... Annie's trustworthy and to me that says and encompases a lot. She truly loves dogs, is reliable, has fun with them/ they have fun with her, and I can not say enough good things about her. If you're looking for someone to not just to walk but truly take care of your dog and do it with heart and sensibility - Annie is your answer.

Safety, trust & environment

I currently have boarding capabilities at my small house with a closed front yard and backyard. I am more than happy to watch pets at clients home or at my own. I am highly flexible and adaptable to accommodate whatever needs your pet may have

A typical day

When I watch dogs I like to get to know their personalities and what they like to do. If they have the energy I love to take them on walks, play with toys, practice training, petting, brushing, whatever is needed! I like to walk in places the dog is familiar with and feels most comfortable. That might be their neighborhood or their favorite park!

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Takes only 1 client at a time
Annie can host up to 2 pets per night
If possible, I like to know ahead of time what each dog may respond to (name, treats, ect), and what might make them nervous or agitated (squirrels, cats, ect). That way if we go on walks I can keep a watchful eye and limit any stressful interactions.
