I am currently working from home remotely. I have flexibility in my schedule for early morning, lunch time, and afternoon visits/walks. For overnights/sleepovers and staying at your house I require a reliable internet connection (working remotely). I also have safety lights/reflective items if we are walking in the dark.

I treat pets as my own, giving pets, loving, and brushing. If allowed I invite them to sleep with me and sit on the couch with me. I take thorough instructions on walks, safety, feedings, medications, schedules, and follow them. It’s important to me the health and wellbeing of the pets I’m with. I will also send pics, videos, and updates throughout my visit. I believe in lots of fresh water, watch the heat and weather for your pets. I am cautious when walking and give a lot of space between other walkers and dogs. I like to be informed of any reactive behaviors, or things to watch out for.

I like to know their typical schedule, the way they eat, what is normal for them, and how they interact in the neighborhood. Are they allergic to anything? I like to be aware if your pet is reactive to other animals or friendly with other pets. I am cautious around unknown neighborhood animals. I like to be aware of anything that might happen. Is your dog an escape artist, nervous chewer, doesn’t like to be touched in a certain spot, trash scavenger? Are human treats off limits? Are they nervous during storms? All these things help me to keep your pet safe and happy.
A typical day
I like to walk, and let the dogs sniff around for their mental stimulation. I talk to dogs (probably too much), and pick up after their ‘business’. I like to keep in mind the heat of the day so typically walk early in the morning or when the sun goes down to avoid overheating and potential burns from hot concrete. I have several reflective and light up things for our safety during walks. I am always cautious of other dogs and walkers and prefer to move to the other side of the street.

I am a pet lover, owner, and love all animals. I am passionate about their care, and treat them as my own. I have a tuxedo cat, and live with a yellow lab. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish, birds, pet rats, assertive roosters, chickens, and even the basics for horses. Big dogs don’t scare me! I am confident about delivering medication needed for your pet, and will take the best care of your pets. I lead with responsibility, and details are important to me. I monitor and watch for issues with your pets. I am generally avoidant of other dogs, just because of the unknowns of how they may interact. I will collect mail, water plants, gather packages, scoop poop and take out trash as needed. I always try to leave someone’s home as if I were never there.

We would highly recommend Annie for pet and house sitting for any pet. Our senior dog gets very anxious when left alone and it was great that Annie's schedule allowed her to stay with our dog and only leave him alone for short periods of time. He is a picky eater and is on medication but this was not a problem for Annie. We will definitely book her again.
Annie is very reliable and will take great care of your pets. She will send you pictures with updates to let you know that your fur babies are being treated well and are happy. She has taken care of my dog and cat and they both loved her. I would definitely have her take care of them again.
I cannot express how wonderful Annie is with our two dogs and cat when she pet sits. She has pet sat for us a few times and is my go-to when we are going out of town. My house is always cleaner than when I left it (which is a bonus). Annie walks our dogs, feeds/waters, and snuggles. When we return from our sitting jobs, my pets don’t have any of the usual “anxiety issues” we have had in the past She is great with all animals. We have an elderly lab, 18 mth ShihTzu, and elderly (grumpy) cat. HIGHLY recommend Annie. Our pets LOVE her!!!
We were connected with Annie through our landlords. They utilize her dog and animal watching services when they go out of town. From the first time we communicated with her, her love for all animals was made clear. We have a large breed dog that requires special attention, and while we were away for our wedding Annie made sure we never had to worry about him or his wellbeing. She gave us periodic status updates that left us with peace of mind. Our dog loves Annie and we're looking forward to having her watch him again!
