Dog lover - walker/runner & sitter

Animal lover who misses working with them daily. Former Peace Corps volunteer and beekeeper. I’m now in a job where I don’t get to interact with animals regularly so this is my chance to hang with furry friends! If you want a buddy for your dog (or cat!), someone to walk, run (I’m an avid runner) or play with - I’m your girl! I have a flexible schedule, and am quick to respond to texts and calls. Working at a horse barn since I was 11 years old, I have developed a strong work ethic and value for reliable consistency in whatever job I’m doing. As a note, I kindly request meet and greets for all situations. I have consistently been a dog walker/pet sitter throughout my life and adore my four legged friends. Hopefully hear from you soon!

Boarding • Jul 06, 2026

Annie and her husband Jon were attentive caretakers when I had to board my dog Koda. In addition to sharing helpful daily photos and updates, they asked important questions and were patient and enthusiastic when taking care of my dog. I would definitely recommend boarding your dog with them.

Annie loves dogs and my dogs love her back! She is very sweet and affectionate towards my dogs and will make your dog feel very special. If your dog likes to walk she's got lots of energy and will take them on a nice walk (or run) if they want it. A very responsible person, she will absolutely be there when you need her and you can trust her completely.

Wonderful! She’s very friendly and my dog absolutely loves her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. My dog waits by the door every morning for her. 10/10

Annie would make the best Rover dog sitter in the world. I dont know anyone more loving towards animals. In the Peace Corps Annie found and nursed a street dog back to health. She adored her dog not only through her 2 year service, but even now as she brought her home stateside. Annie is very patient with dogs and very understanding of what their body language may be. I know she has previous experiences with dog sitting, so more than just loving dogs, she also has the skill and the knowledge to safely care for the beloved pets of others.

Annie is a very dedicated and hard working dog walker! She has walked my dogs (a lab puppy and elderly pug) for me when I haven't been able to get home from work in time and she's done a great job. She is a reliable, trustworthy and safe dog professional. Your dogs are in good hands with her!

Schedule

Generally wake up early and go for walks around 7AM, about 30-50min (obviously can adjust depending on dog’s need!). Have a fenced in yard so pup will have full run while we’re home as well. Mid-morning walk around 11 - shorter of about 15-30 minutes and mid afternoon walk around 3 or so. Longer evening walk around 6 or so of about 30-50mins. It’s just my husband and I so someone is usually home with them the majority of the stay. On weekends we try to go on hikes as well, but this would be communicated in advance pending dog’s fitness and owner comfort with taking the dogs places.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in yard with a doggie door if your dog is trained on how to use them. It’s just my husband and I at home, we have about 1700SF of 3 floor duplex. Our neighborhood is great for walking with sidewalks everywhere and a park 5 minutes away.

Pets

A typical day

Fun neighborhood walks, brain teasers with treats, and throwing balls/sticks in the back yard. If it’s a weekend day, would go hiking if weather permitting (and owner is comfortable!).
