Pet care experience
Cat Mama and Expert Kitty Sitter!
About Me: Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. Please note: I can only accept clients who live within walking distance from me. After 11 years as a federal worker, I became a victim of DOGE. I do not have a car, but I am located in North Bethesda near Pike & Rose. I know cats seem like they are fine on their own, but they are social and need to be around their humans. I am available to visit your cat daily. I have taken care of cats for years (more than a decade!) and have experience with kittens as young as 4 months and senior cats as well (my oldest client is 20 years old). I know when to engage, when to ignore, and most of all, how to make sure they feel safe. No sudden movements, no loud noises, and plenty of love. Cats deserve the best, don’t they? A clean litter box, a fresh bowl of water, and fresh food everyday. I am very passionate about cats and care very deeply for their well-being. It may not be commonly known that they express themselves differently. A dog may bark when lonely, but a cat may hide and feel threatened. All I want is for them to feel comforted and secured in their own territory.

Annie went above and beyond!! She is by far our favorite sitter! Our kitties love her too.

Always a godsend!

Annie's the best! She provides great care for our kitties and makes sure they have everything they need.

Always the best!

Annie is an incredibly great house sitter for my senior cat who has certain illnesses which need treatment. She is engaged, enthusiastic, very responsive reporting to me with photos, and tremendously kind to my cat. I can't say enough great things about Annie.
Thanks so much for loving our kitties! Annie does a great job with all 3 cats - they give her 5 stars!

About My Cat: My cat’s name is Connie and she is almost 7 years old. She has actually been re-homed a few times, so I definitely spoil her with lots of cat trees, high shelves, several cat beds in each room, and her favorite treats. She started out as my father-in-law’s cat. He adopted her along with another cat at a shelter in Virginia. As they grew up, the other (male) cat began bullying my Connie, so he gave her to his sister. His sister had two female cats who also bullied Connie. So she came to our home as the sole cat and the queen. She adapted very nicely because I gave her a space of her own to adjust and a lot of coaxing and love to make sure she felt safe and at home. I know people say this a lot about their fur babies, but she is the SWEETEST, most docile, and chill cat. She's a cool boss.

About My Cat-Sitting Experience: It all started when my friends and coworkers would go on home leave for months at a time, and I would come over and make sure their cats were happy and well-fed. I played with them and stayed over as well. I will send you photos while you're away. I can recommend cool (and affordable) pet cameras so you can see your fur baby. I am always so worried when I leave Connie, even if it’s just for the weekend. I’ve only done it once, but had a friend and a family member come over twice a day. She took pictures of Connie under the bed and I was happy to know she had people coming over to see her. I will do the same with your fur baby. I’ll be sure to give plenty of updates and photos.

A typical day
While I love dogs and am very good with them, I'm mostly concerned about folks who leave cats home alone thinking they will be fine. I would like to provide affordable pet sitting for cats only for now.
