One of the most memorable parts of my pet care journey was learning to tailor my approach to each animal’s specific needs. For example, my dog required a structured routine with regular exercise to stay happy and healthy. I quickly became an expert in planning our daily walks, choosing dog parks, and incorporating mental stimulation through games and interactive toys. In contrast, my cat was more independent, but she thrived on consistency and a calm environment. I spent time creating a safe, cozy space for her and learned the value of quiet companionship—simply sitting next to her while she purred contentedly. Feeding schedules, grooming routines, and even trips to the vet became second nature to me. I embraced the responsibility of ensuring my pets had the best possible care. Watching them thrive, grow, and bond with me in return made every moment worthwhile. Through my experiences, I’ve come to realize that pet care is not just about meeting basic needs but about building a relationship based on trust, understanding, and love. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a pet owner's home, I prioritize three essential factors: safety, trust, and environment. These principles guide how I ensure every pet feels secure, comfortable, and cared for. **Safety** is always my first concern. I make sure the environment is hazard-free, removing anything that could pose a threat, such as toxic plants, small objects, or sharp edges. If I’m caring for a dog, I secure doors and gates to prevent escapes during walks or playtime. I also ensure that the pet’s routine medications, if any, are administered properly, and I’m always vigilant about monitoring any changes in their health or behavior. **Trust** is equally important. I take the time to establish a bond with the pet, ensuring they feel at ease around me. I approach every pet with patience and calm, recognizing that some animals may be nervous or shy in new environments or with new people. Building trust often means allowing the pet to come to me on their terms, engaging in gentle interactions like offering treats, or spending quiet time together. For regular clients, maintaining consistency with their established routines helps reinforce a sense of security and trust. Finally, the **environment** plays a key role in a pet’s well-being. In my home, I create a pet-friendly space that’s clean, comfortable, and tailored to the specific pet’s needs. I set up cozy areas for resting, with plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. For cats, I ensure there are plenty of high spaces or cozy nooks where they can retreat, while dogs get ample space to move around and engage in play. If I’m in the pet owner’s home, I maintain the familiar surroundings and routines that help the pet feel comfortable, ensuring their environment feels just like it would if their owner were present. By focusing on safety, trust, and environment, I ensure that every pet under my care is not only protected but also feels loved and at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own.

Hon såg till att katterna inte bara fick mat och ren låda utan även närhet och aktivering de behöver. Vi kunde slappna av helt på vår resa. När vi kom hem möttes vi av fyra harmoniska och glada katter som knappt verkade ha märkt att vi varit borta! Anni är punktlig, professionell och sprider en otrolig positiv energi. Det är sällan man hittar någon som man litar på till 100 %, men Anni är en sådan person. Vi kommer utan tvekan att fråga henne nästa gång vi reser bort. Anni was able to quickly take a booking when I thought nobody else would be able to. She setup a meeting to not just grab the keys, but learn everything about our little kitten in the process. Pictures were frequent, and I could tell our little guy was starting to warm up to her by the end of our engagement. Reports came in every single visit, and there wasn't a single issue. I could tell Anni really cared by reading her status updates about Wyborne, they were detailed enough to get a sense of how he was really doing. She demonstrated expertise in caring for cats just in our conversation alone when I was handing over our key. I'll definitely be reaching out again as soon as I need help with our beloved cat!

Schedule
I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and a part-time student, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate a lot of time and attention to pet care. Since I spend most of my time at home, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, comfortable, and supervised environment throughout the day.
