I work from home, so you can have peace of mind that your dog will be cared for all day. My working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, during which I can offer in-house boarding or doggy day care. I’m available after my working hours for dog walks and drop-in visits in Oxnard and Ventura, and can house sit within a 35-mile radius.

I’m at home all day for my dogs, so your dog will also receive 24/7 care and attention. Our home is located in a gated community, offering an additional layer of security and peace of mind. Inside our home, we’ve installed gates that separate the main living area from the front door and garage, providing extra security to ensure our dogs are always safe and sound. We ask that all dogs be up-to-date on vaccines and on a flea & tick preventative to ensure the safety and health of all the pets in our home, including our two dogs. To make sure everyone gets along, we’ll arrange a meet & greet before any stay. This way, we can ensure your dog is comfortable with our pets, and everyone feels at ease.

A typical day
When your dog stays with us during the week, they’ll enjoy a thoughtfully balanced routine designed to keep them happy, healthy, and engaged. We start our mornings with an early rise, breakfast, and some light play to get the day going. During my lunch break, we’ll have plenty of time for active play and running around with our dogs, making sure everyone gets the exercise they need. After work, we’ll unwind with a nice walk around the neighborhood before dinner at 6 PM. Evenings are all about fun and stimulation, with mentally enriching games and more playtime, including fetch and plenty of running to burn off any extra energy. As the day winds down, we’ll transition into a relaxing evening together. Your dog is welcome to snuggle up on the couch with us while we watch some TV, creating a cozy, home-like environment.

I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 15, and I currently have two of my own, along with my mom’s dog, whom I care for on weekends. I’ve raised both my dogs and my mom’s dog from puppies, handling everything from potty training to managing resource guarding. My shelter dog presented a unique training challenge, but with patience and dedication, he’s become a wonderful companion. As the family’s go-to pet sitter, I manage pet care during vacations and offer boarding in my home. Working from home allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day, ensuring your dog gets consistent supervision and affection.

We had such a wonderful experience with Annette! She took amazing care of our sweet baby Kenji over the weekend.
