Availability
Yes — since this is specifically the schedule/availability section, I’d make it about your flexibility and the advantage of being right there in TrailMark, rather than talking about someone always being home. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to easily work dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting into my day. Since I’m currently caring for pets exclusively within TrailMark, I’m never far away and can be available throughout the day to make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, potty breaks, meals, and companionship they need. Caring for animals is second nature to me. I especially love getting dogs outdoors for walks, fresh air, and a little adventure, but I’m just as happy spending time with them at home, giving them love and attention and making sure all of their individual needs are met. For vacation care and house sitting, my goal is to keep your pets’ routines as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away—and give you the peace of mind of knowing a trusted neighbor is close by caring for both your pets and your home.

Safety, trust & environment
I’d definitely remove the weight limit and everything about your mom/Zephyr playing with visiting dogs, since none of that applies now. I’d also phrase the pulling/jumping boundary in a way that makes it clear this is about safety and knowing your limits, not that you won’t handle energetic dogs. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. Before caring for a new pet, I require a meet & greet so we can get acquainted and I can learn about your pet’s personality, routine, preferences, and any special needs. I want to know how you want your fur baby cared for, and I always appreciate having written instructions so I can keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I’m very respectful of both your home and your privacy. My goal is for you to be able to leave knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for—and that your home is in trustworthy hands. I’m also very diligent about safety when walking dogs. I love dogs of all sizes and personalities, but through experience I’ve had to learn when to say no for everyone’s safety. Unfortunately, I’m not able to walk dogs who are extreme pullers or jumpers if their strength or behavior puts me at risk of being pulled down or injured. I’ve pushed that boundary a few too many times because it’s hard for me to say no to a dog I adore, but I’ve learned that being a responsible caregiver also means recognizing my own physical limits. For new clients, please no last-minute booking requests unless we’ve already completed a meet & greet. Once I know you and your pets, I’m happy to be as flexible as my schedule allows. ❤️
Information Annette K. would like to know about your pet
Since you’re no longer boarding, almost all of those old restrictions disappear—which actually makes this section much warmer. I’d use it to show how much you want to understand the individual animal before you take responsibility for them, including seniors and special-needs pets. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can care for them! Every animal has their own personality, routines, quirks, and preferences, and those little details are often what help them feel safe and comfortable when their family is away. Before caring for your pet, I’ll want to know about their normal eating and sleeping routines, favorite activities, medications or special needs, potty schedule, walking habits, temperament, and anything that may make them anxious or uncomfortable. I also want to know the things they love—favorite toys, treats, where they like to sleep, how they like to be loved on, and all those little things that make your pet uniquely yours. Senior pets are absolutely welcome. I’m happy to adjust their care to their age, mobility, energy level, and established routine. Sometimes an older pup doesn’t need an adventure—they just need a gentle potty break, their dinner served exactly the way they expect it, and someone beside them giving them some love. ❤️ Most importantly, please tell me anything you think I should know, even if it seems insignificant. You know your pet better than anyone, and good communication helps me make sure your expectations are met and your fur baby receives the same thoughtful, loving care I would want for my own.
A typical day
I’d keep the fitness-training angle because it differentiates you, but make clear you’re reinforcing the owner’s existing training, not presenting yourself as a dog trainer. And since everything happens in the client’s home/neighborhood now, Zephyr can come out entirely. Every dog is different, so my time with your pup is centered around what they enjoy and what they’re accustomed to doing with you. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible while making sure they get plenty of attention, affection, mental stimulation, and appropriate exercise. Depending on your dog, that might mean multiple walks throughout the day, playing fetch or tug-of-war, tossing a ball or Frisbee, practicing a little leash work, or simply spending quality time together at home. And with my background in fitness and movement, I especially enjoy helping active dogs get the exercise they need to be happy and content. Safety is always part of our walks as well. I reinforce good walking manners, such as sitting and waiting at intersections before crossing, and I’m happy to use familiar cues like “heel,” “wait,” or whatever commands you already use with your dog. Most importantly, I follow your lead. If your dog already has established training, routines, favorite activities, or particular ways you communicate with them, I’ll do my best to maintain those while you’re away. I want your pup to have a fun day—but also one that feels comfortably familiar. 🐾❤️

Your Pup’s New BFF in Trailmark!!
Pet care experience
Hi, TrailMark neighbors! 🐾 I’m so happy to call TrailMark home and to offer trusted, personalized pet care right here in our community. I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, and house and pet sitting exclusively within TrailMark, so I’m always nearby when your pets need care. I’ve been a dog owner for more than 20 years, and animals have always been an important part of my family. I began pet sitting in college and have continued caring for pets ever since. Today, I share my home with my lovable, quirky Mini Aussie, the Mighty Zephyr, who keeps me on my toes and fills my heart. My daughter Gabrielle and I are both animal lovers, and we understand how important it is to have someone dependable care for your pets while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a walk, your pets need drop-in visits, or you’d prefer in-home care during a trip, I’d love to help. Because I serve only TrailMark, I can offer the personal, neighborly attention I’d want for my own pets. Your pets aren’t “just pets,” and I’ll care for them with that in mind. ❤️ Services currently offered in TrailMark: 🐾 Dog walking 🐾 Drop-in pet visits 🐾 Vacation pet sitting 🐾 Overnight house & pet sitting It’s nice to know that when you have to leave your fur babies behind, you have a trusted neighbor right here in TrailMark to love on them until you get home.
