Hello, I am Annette. Thank you for reading my profile. I have been with Rover since 2018 and have never cancelled a pet care request. I treat the care of your home and pets with attention and professionalism. I am a pet person and enjoy all kinds of animals, I love what I do. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, horses and snakes. I believe leaving your 4 legged family member in his/her home is better than boarding. I will care for your pet as you do. I will adhere to your preferences in routine, behavior, food and exercise. I haven't met a pet I didn't enjoy spending time with. I will send pictures and updates at least twice a day, sometimes more. You are on vacation so I don't expect a response, I just want you to enjoy the moments of the day I spent with your pet. I have a small footprint in any home I stay in. I am a tidy person that keeps a clean home. I will clean all areas I have been in hours before the homeowners return. I will also launder all linens used, one less thing for you to tackle once home. I am a home owner. I am a terrible repair person but I know how to turn off the water main and address home emergencies. I grew up with a St Bernard as part of our family. All the children in my family learned how to show dogs so we could handle the dog instead of him handling us. LOL I am a firm believer that calm interaction, frequent praise, exercise and lots of love is the best approach with any animal. If allowed, I will take your dog on daily walks to different locations so neither of us gets bored. I have a multi lead leash that I use when walking multiple dogs. If your dog likes car rides I will take them with me on any errands/visits that are dog friendly (I would not leave them in the car unattended). If it is too hot to walk your dog I have several indoor games for mental and physical activity. Senior, puppy and special needs pets are welcome. I love them all. I spend a lot of time with your pet. Day one is busy so I can get to know your pet and they can get to know me. By the end of the day we are tired and ready for a good nights sleep. Day 2 and going forward we will stick to routine so there are no problems with separation anxiety.
Ratings and reviews
Annette is a fabulous sitter. Our pet, Fred, is always happy with her which makes it easy to leave him in her care. She walked him multiple times each day and took him to the dog park for playtime throughout the day. Annette had to nurse Fred through a “bug” and cooked him a special recipe to calm his tummy. She sends photos throughout hwr stay which is delightful for us parents. She is “the BEST”!
Annette was fantastic! She played with Fred, walked him daily, and found creative ways to stimulate him. We appreciated that she sent photos and videos. She actually had FUN with „our boy“. Annette made sure our home was clean when we returned and laundered her sheets and towels-much appreciated!
Annette is super patient and caring of our dogs and was very communicative. She is very professional and seems comfortable and natural with our high energy dogs. Our shy one even finally let her put on her harness!!!! Thanks again!!!

Annette did an amazing job with our pups and it’s not an easy task with 3 Great Danes, 1 German shepherd and 1 golden doodle. She treated them like her very own and were WELL taken care of and it showed! She sent us pictures every day along with updates. We came to an immaculate house and backyard. Added bonus… a meal after a long travel day!! ❤️ Can’t wait to go on another trip rest assured she is holding down the fort at home!

Schedule
I do not work which allows me to spend most or all day with your pet. If I have errands I would not be away more than a few hours. If your dog likes car rides and enjoys company I will take them with me when possible.
