Pet care experience

I'm a Loving & Attentive Caretaker!

Hi, I'm Annette! I've been a pet owner for most of my life and have always treated each one like family...so much so that friends and family have relied on me to watch after their pets! Most of my experience is with dogs, however, I've also looked after a rabbit, guinea pig, fish, and birds. Presently I work from home, as does my husband three days a week, so there is always someone here to watch and care for your pet. Our chihuahua, Ceasar, has been quite lonely since his sister, Cleo, passed last year. This has been heartbreaking to watch and was my motivation for wanting to become a dog sitter. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. We have a fenced in yard and also like to go for walks in the evening (when the weather permits).

Annette! The best! She kept our little guy for 5 days and sent pics of him playing with her little guy. He seems to have gotten comfortable pretty quickly which makes us feel comfortable. We will definitely be using Annette again. Thank you Annette for putting this pet owner’s nerves at ease.

My two guys are always thrilled to go "vacation" at Annette's place! They are obviouisly pampered and she assures that their needs as Senior dogs are taken care of. Whether it's for a short weekemd stay or a 2-week vacation, we would change our plans to match Annette's availability because I would be hard put to find anyone so attentive and clearly loving of my two little guys,

This was our second stay with Ms Annette. My silky mix Paisley is 17 years old, blind, and has doggy dementia. She is a special needs dog and requires specialized care. Paisley adjusts easily to her home and is always well cared for by Ms Annette. Highly recommended pet caregiver with a caring, loving, super clean home.

Safety, trust & environment

I have been the primary caretaker for our family pets for 35+ years. I've always spoiled our dogs and treated them as members of our family. Your dog will be treated with the same love and attention while in my care. Our fully fenced-in yard provides plenty of room for your pet to run and play. Living on a cul-de-sac also provides another layer of safety when taking walks since there is less traffic and overall noise.

Pets

A typical day

Our neighborhood is made up of several cul-de-sacs, so I find it works as an advantage to provide the exercise and explorative needs of dogs.

0 to 15 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Takes only 1 client at a time
Annette can host up to 3 pets per night
Here is my basic list of questions I would want to know beforehand: 1. Does your dog have any medications they take?...any allergies? 2. Are there any "do's and don'ts" we need to know about? 3. Is your pet free of fleas, ticks, etc.? (This is very important to us as it concerns the safety and well-being of all the pets in our care.) 4. Has your pet had a rabies shot? 5. Is your pet up-to-date on all their needed shots?
