I had not taken care of a dog constantly since the death of the family dog, Mocha, when I started dogsitting. Now, like then, I give them any medication, walk them, play with them, feed them, give them frequent potty breaks, and treat them how I'd want to be treated. I make sure the environment looks as it started when you left, cleaning up after her/him as necessary. If there are any other requests, please let me know, and I'll see what I can do help.

A typical day
I have a fenced yard your dog(s) can spend time in running. I'll play games with them and enjoy putting their food in stimulating containers. I also dance, A LOT, though poorly. So if you have a pet or security camera, fair warning that you will likely see me playing music, dancing, singing and running around with your dog.

I’m an experienced, reliable sitter who loves animals of all kinds and has cared for everything from energetic puppies to gentle(and grumpy) seniors. I primarily sit large breeds, but I welcome dogs of all sizes and backgrounds. I’m currently expanding my skills in puppy training and grooming, and I have experience administering medications and caring for sick pets too. Your dog will be in loving hands while you’re away.

Annelise did a wonderful job with our boy. We have an anxious senior pup on medication, and Annelise handled it like a champ and showed him a lot of patience and care. Our dog and our home were both in great hands, and we would highly recommend!
